Guess it's a bit late, but I hate valentine's day too. Every year I end up single a month or two before V-day comes. Also I used to actually hope that someone would care enough to get me something. You know, the whole "having one person in the world who cares about you" sorta thing. Of course I never have gotten a gift on the worst day of the year.
I did give a gift to my friend Molly, but then she kinda avoided me, thinking I would ask her out or something. I won't bring up Sarah with this subject...but yeah. Valentines day sucks. About 5 people had the V-day blues, and it was of course up to me to cheer them all up, when I myself was depressed by the lack of care people gave to me.
So, fun holiday? Not unless you got someone. And since more people are single than together, I say we abolish the holiday completely.
