Yeah, I didn't say that Sin City was the first digital movie, I said it was the first one to do it sucessfully. Sky Captain, although I did kind of like it, was essentially a failed experiment. Plus Spy Kids 2 and 3 were mostly digital. But Sin City was a work of art. It might have taken years for anyone to do it that well, but it didn't.

Actually, from my experience it's pretty easy to say you're going to one movie with some friends and once you're at the theatre go to another. Now, I don't know how old you are so actually getting an R ticket might be hard if not impossible. In that case it all depends where the usher's are positioned, for example the local Regal is divided into two wings, with a ticket check at each entrance. So as long as you've picked a movie that's playing in the same wing as the desired picture, you're home free. And that's during the evening, during matinees they don't check at all. Of course, that's my theatre, yours are probably different.

Maybe if you know your true love is about to move away to college or something, you can stick this shit in the stereo and make the moment last while at the same time listening to pussies whine about bitch shit. Just like you.

I would first like to mention that in all proabbaility as someone said earlier... Sin city will be the first good digital movie.
howwever, in light of Hitchhikers Guide to teh galaxy... This is must see. It's a beautiful transition of book to movie (proably better transition than Lord of the Rings considering base material)
i laughed so hard I was in pain at the end of the movie. the graphic are not cheesy. The dialouge is witty and the acting is superb. The biritish humor is nicely done with a good dose of americna slapstick (literally) that works...
You will even laugh at this movie as you think back about it and realize all the subtle things done that were missed duign veiwing. the more you think the more stuff you realize you missed.
This movie gets 9 stars of 10.
shoot, I liked it better than starwars E3.

Uh... that's a really bold comment. Lord of The Rings rocked hardcore. I loved the 'flying heads.' They were sick. Literally. I'm hoping HG2G will be good.

I personally thought the movie lost what really made the books great - HINT: It wasn't a shitty Arthur-Trillian love story. And it wasn't shoving a new third of the story into the middle, leaving countless loose ends and plot holes that make no sense and will never be resolved. And it wasn't COMPLETELY fucking up the first three chapters of the book to the point where they were boring (where were the disused lavatories and the Guide's entry on towels?).

The movie certainly had its moments, though, even if some of the great subtle humour didn't translate as well or was dropped in favor of shit lines like "I had to look in a cellar!" And they missed Mostly Harmless, too.

True...
i was sad that there was nothign said about "mostly harmless". bu tI thought Ford covered the towels rathers well. also, keep in mind LotR dropped out old man willow and Tom Bombadil.
There will always be something left out...
