Poems!

Postby Telephalsion » Wed Jun 16, 2004 4:31 pm

Well since OverlordBill doesn't want the beautiful arts of poetry into his Gmail topic, let's all share our wits here! (or not)

I'll start things off by posting 20 poems. and one or two in swedish just because you can't read them!

okay!

”I’m walking on a field of snow. I can see three stars.”
”I know not what they are called, yet I can see them now.”
”What names do these stars hold. The stars that I see now?”
”The moon the moon, I cannot see. Hidden by the clouds so thick.”
”The sun is sleeping yet, behind the horizons line.”
”Soon to rise in dawn, And warm up my heart.”

”I’m walking on a field of snow. I can see three stars.”
”I know now what they are called, and still I see them know.”
”Hope and love and peace. This the stars are called.”
”The moon the moon I now can see, slightly shining, behind the clouds.”
”The sun is rising now, colouring the clouds.”
”In bright shades of purple now. And all the clouds are fair.”

”I’m walking on a field of snow. I can see three stars.”
”I know now the names of them. But they are fading now.”
”Soon they are to dissapear, when the sun does rise.”
”The moon the moon, is fading too, all is leaving exept the sun.”
”The sun has risen now. It warms up my soul.”
”The world is bright the snow does melt. And all is to be well.”

As we lie down there in my bed I start examening your body.
Admiring you perfect shapes and curves.
Like a gentle river of beaty,
does your hair run down your cheeks and shoulders.
It flows so wild yet lies so perfect on your bare skin.
Every string of hair is a work of gods art.
When I look into your eyes I see but joy.
A circle of color in a white sea,
with a piece of black in the center,
a mirror to your soul.
Your eyebrows lies like small clouds above your fair eyes.
Every eyelash entangles me, binds me closer to you.
Your nose, even a sculper couldn’t make,
for ever so perfect it is.
Your chin is firm yet gentle.
Both of your cheeks are rosy red.
Oh, like apples beginning to ripe.
Your ears are fine, delicate,
when I touch them I am gentle,
for I do not want to brake them.
Your neck is smooth like a sheet of silk.
Your shoulders are wide yet so timid.
As I touch them I feel that you are nervous,
but you shouldn’t be.
For I treat you like a frail doll,
every touch is with care,
every time with hope of not braking you.
Your arms are strong yet they are so small.
So smoth they are.
Each one of your fingers are so beatiful,
so small but ever so fine.
I feel them on my chest and I feel aroused.
I carefully travel with my hands to your chest,
I feel your breast, so voluptious and smooth.
I continue down and kiss you gently in your bellybutton.
I feel your legs, they are as smoth as all with you.
I slowly start kissing you, working my way up to your lips,
those red volutpious lips so full with passion.
As I feel your tounge againsty mine I seem to drift away.
Soon I wake up realising it must have been a dream.
But as I look onto my pillow I see something odd.
It is a strain of hair. Longer than mine and the color you had.
Was it all a dream or wasn’t it?

I wish I was a cat, that way I would be allright, everytime I fall.
I wish I was a bird, that way I could fly away, every time I'm hurt.
I wish I was a mole, then I would burrow deep, everytime I'm sad.
I wish I was a bear, then no one would bother me.

Life is a flower
First you are a seed
Then you Grow
Once you blossom
Then you wither

5

Life is a flower
Some people pick you
Others sneeze at you
Others adore you
Some preserve you

6

Roses are red
And so is my bed
You struck me deep
And i died in my sleep

Slowly walking on a solemn street.
All he hears is a gloomy beat.
Silver tears run down his cheek.
His love abandoned his this week.
A rageful boy clunges his fist.
Strikes blindly into the mist.
Hitting naught but air.
The boy falls into despair.
Hoping to rejoin his dear.
The boy he sheads another tear.
Far away the girl is weeping.
She cannot bare to continue sleeping.
Her heart points in one direction.
To the boy she once held in affection.
The boy he dare not ask her.
Why they cannot be together.
And on this gloomy night.
Two hearts refuse to fight.

Like a grain of sand, that's how I feel.
And you are like the sun, far far away.
You shine everyday with your golden rays.
But I recive you heat with a days delay.
When you burst of joy I am unknowing.
Untill a week later I hear the word.
Do you even know I exist, I do not know.
Yet everyday I reach my hands out to you.
Trying to graps the beatuy that you hold.
Failing but never giving up the fight.
Everytime I see you smile, I feel warm.
The smile on your face tells me somehow,
That somewhere, sometime, there is hope,
For a life for you and me as one.
I will never surender to despair.
But at times I feel down and depressed.
When I look at you, far far away.
To far for me to come close.
Such times makes me plunge into sadness.
For I think there is no more hope.
But I must never stop beleiving.
In hope for a love between us.
There will come a day someday.
When noone stands between us.
And my feelings may flow forth.
unhalted by the opinions of others.
My thoughts will be directed at you.
Without bounds, without breaks but with love

Olov Steinwall©

A Bitter sweet symphony
Echoes trough my head.
Tired of hypocrisy.
My throat fills with lead.
My life is a tragedy.
Soon i will be dead.

Olov Steinwall©
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

10

What if I bleed?
What if everytime you look away my heart gets a scar?
What if I bleed?
What if you harsh words are like needles in my skin?
What if I cry?
What if your every word can break my walls?
What if I cry?
What if everytime I look at you I know it will never be?

Olov Steinwall©
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

11

Amazement.
Meeting you with your hair let down after school.
Solitude.
Thinking of you and your eyes, all alone in my room.
Despair.
Hearing word of your new boyfriend.
Hope.
Watching you smile at me everytime that we meet.
Bliss.
Feeling the warmth as I hold you during the dance.
Anger.
Clenching my fist as I See you with another man.
Dedication.
Honing my skills to impress you as best I can.
Resolve.
Writing the letter declaring my love.

Olov Steinwall©
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

12

Do not despair.
Se the light though the shadows.
Look into the air.
The nightingale flies to freedom.
Let loose your hair.
Run down the hills in joy for life.
Come to my lair.
I will wuard you foreverer and more.

Olov Steinwall©
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

13

I'm going to buy me a slice of the moon.
And eat it slowly with a fork and a spoon.
Settle my hunger for love and affection.
Then remove your picture from my collection.
I must douse the flame of desire.
And find someone who can me inspire.
I'm going to buy me apice of the sun.
To blind peoples eyes while I run.

Olov Steinwall©

14

A white dove sails through the moonlit sea.
Who can tell where he makes his nest?
A white dove sings in the morning light.
Who can tell how he finds some rest?
A white doves falls through the midday breeze.
Who can tell who struck his chest?
A white dove lies on the evening soil.
Who can tell he adorns your crest?

Olov Steinwall©

15

Nobody will ever know,
The pain that I do feel,
When I walk upon the fields of glass and thorns.
Nobody will ever feel,
The agony of mine,
From the dagger in my soul and in my heart.
Nobody will ever tell.
How I really feel.
When I'm not with you and all alone.
Nobody will ever realize.
That I'm hiding my feelings away.
So that I will not get hurt.

Olov Steinwall©

16

My moon-car has no squirrel!
Fair toaster give me a lazer,
so I can peel my furnished toe.
My envelope is made of lego.
Oh rodents of the seven seas,
send me a coconut of jellybeans!
Vikings has no pink garments,
for they eat chocolate with milk.
Though leather belts are classy.

Olov Steinwall©

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
17

Chewing on ice to douse the flame.
To calm the desire, to releive the pain.
Swallowing snow to numb the heart.
To cover the need to halt the lust.

Olov Steinwall©

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
18

Unresponded love,
The grimmest kind it is.
For every night you grieve.
For you know not if thy love is received.
You know not is thy love love you back.
Nor do you know if thy love hate you

Olov Steinwall©

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
19

To be in love is common.
To also be shy and afraid is common.
Not only am I that but I am more.
For I am not a knight in shining armour.
Nor am I a hero on a white steed.
I am a common man, with a common heart.
My love are common and so is my pain.
But can can a fair lady love the common man?
Or is that only the stuff of stories?
Or does love truly conquer all?

Olov Steinwall©

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
20

I am a man of wonders,
people amaze at my skills.
Yet I lack the skill that I need.
I lack the courage,
or perhaps the foolishness?
To declare my feelings to my love.

Olov Steinwall©

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
21

I lie sweating in my bed.
It is late at night and it's raining.
I cannot sleep in my current state.
For the flame of my love consumes me.
For I never display or confess this love.
And therefore it burns within me.
Hidden,
Secret,
Safe.
And at the cost of my sanity,
I guard my pride.
For displaying my emotions would make me a fool.

Olov Steinwall©

You could make millions as a lyricist for an Emo band.
I don't know if that's a compliment or not. :?

Well if Emo-bands make good money and you don't loose our reputation by working with them then sure it's a compliment

And get high so we can read some psycadelic poems!

It's probably an insult. Even if it makes you rich don't go anywhere near an emo band.

though I haven't as many poems to post as you, I do have a few that are of decent quality.

-------------------
The Hero Within

Long ago in times of dark
When hatred circled 'round,
And fear was in our hearts,
Always there was
An avenue of hope.
We look inside
To the hero burried,
To times ahead
When things aren't so drear,
And a smile shines through.

-------------------

Somehow In The End

Floating on an Autumn breeze,
Leaves ablaze in light,
My thoughts do wander frequently,
My heart with you tonight.

Alone I sit and dream of you,
This love a wond'rous flight.
These dreams of times still distant yet,
When I can hold you tight.

My heart does cry these tears inside,
A frown upon my face,
Yet still I feel within myself,
I'll know your smile's grace.

I shut my eyes and fold my arms
So tight upon my breast,
And deep inside I taste your love,
How I was truly blessed.

I'm sorry for this pain I've caused
That made you turn away.
I pray that somehow in the end
Your love for me remain.

-------------------

Shadows In The Darkness

The shadows in the darkness
The voices in my head
Are all that keep me going
In this world that is dead

People have their visions
People have their dreams
But nothing here is real
As nothing's as it seems

The rain is falling upwards
From this earth that's made of lies
The voices in the darkness
Are shouting out their cries

Cries of pain and suffering
From the deepest of the night
But I'm just another creature
In this never ending fight.

HEY LOOK

suicidal tendancie
-
transparent mouths hold tongues of silver and gold - teeth of steel.
rotting in a hole of death surrounded by eaters of life.
how to go. through a six foot hole.
pass through into oblivion.
dead in the head. through the neck, over the stomach (in a cross).
up the arm - scratch the foot.
evasion. hide from the truth. confuse the lie. a point is made. to get across, but at what cost?
bridges fall down under our feet, mountains fall on our heads.
wet paper burns our hands.
karmas blade is sharpened. it's after your blood.
-

leaving through the window
-
civil oppression of thought cuts lax hands, and ignites dusty canvas; while formerly deaf ears and blind eyes are opened.
oppression is impossible - "the masses are unique"...
...are the masses.
true originality is branded sick, and is outlawed.
they have to leave through the window.
good luck to them: they deserve refuge from the society of hypocrites.
originality is so common.
-
phosphorus and triskaidekaphobic
-
phosphorus and triskaidekaphobic.
lights of brilliance, matched only by the light of her breath.
my teeth water when the pain comes.
kings of pain and lords of chaos.
dark purple mentality.
what he wants the second time around.
smoke and mint, the lethal combination of foul and fresh.
blink once. then a thousand times.
breath once. then twice and even thrice.
flashing lights of the ambulance...who put the artist in the ambulance.
why is the artist in the ambulance.
he wants out. they peeled the dirt off his skin and uncovered the hidden nest of lies.
but how did the grime get there?
it was finely polished so the dazzle of her eyes reflected off his skin and hid the truth.
there was no dirt!...unless she was staring dirty.
succumb to the truth he hid behind a million words. bogus and unreal.
-
The land beneath the sky,
Echoes of the past decry.
A lost love carried on,
Words to a lonely song.
Everyone must bleed,
Rhue gets the sex he needs

A Wonderous Vow

So wonderous a vow you make
Of love so strong it shall not shake
A bond no 'mount of time can break
No hand of mortal man can take
No lying tongue in mouth can fake

In hidden caves down by the lake
When faeries of the falls did wake
Of this love and vow you spake
And ere they burn me at the stake
A vow to you I too must make

Of this love that we partake
I know be true, not some mistake
This love I pledge I shan't forsake
My heart I give for you to take

When not with you my heart doth ache
Alone to long and it may break
Then in your hands my heart you take
And once again a whole you make.

As per your requests, here is a fine piece of stoner poetry.
I forgot that I was going to do this at the time, so it was a kind of ex temoraneous.

--
The glistening moon shines,
Upon the butterfly's hardened shell.
Move your goddamn car asshole.
--

Note: This is stoner poetry. I'll come up with something more psychedelic later. I've got a new bong that will assist in the process.

Leave the mothers safe embrace

Tumble down, now pirouette

Know ye now your time is set
your sisters plight you too will see

Join them then at mothers feet
sleep the long cold night
Winters white shall blanket you

ok, a friend of me sent me this, im not sure what in the pits it means, but i think its a poem.

Richard, Champion of Homely Hill

Richard, child, where go thou?

To the woods, so farewell, Mother!

Is this not home? Is yonder not thy cow?

No longer now! Bid well to sleeping Brother!

I say farewell to hearth and Homely Hill

And, with Sun’s first rise in War God’s Month,

I kissed Mother farewell and bade her still.

Till I am a true man, I’ll be a soul astray by my own will.

A pilgrim of repute great I shall be: to first go North

Where maidens’ icy breaths with but a kiss may kill.

I’ll stride then Westward far away

Where mighty rivers stream away to die,

The desert-seas where waters go astray

And fearless seabird warlords cry:

“Come with us to thither lands where

Wing-folk soar!” With them I shall go!

Till beyond the hither skies I stare,

Borne upon waves, in sea-spirits’ care.

Fear in me shall die, for I will fight the flow

Of tide, of reason, and return a victor by Sun’s East-Stair.

I’ll find by wild land paths the nomad-camps

Of coal-black Southland folk of legend-lore,

And with the mountain-oliphaunts I’ll dance

Before I dare reside once more on hither shore.

Oh Mother, Mother, tomorrow I shall go!

Tomorrow, today, nay! at Sun’s sinking!

But the seedling crops are yet unsown,

And Beararie Bovine still needs milking.
