There is a game engine that is coming out that can convert Rm2k and Rm2k3 games into the engine. It might work for Rm95. That would make it a lot easier.

Well, see, if we're getting a team together to remake the game, I'm definitely in. I emailed Lun about rewriting the script to Crestfallen Inception and Ascension just for the fun of it, and he hasn't gotten back to me on it.

So, if you guys are up for it, I want to make the dialogue much more fluent and natural for the game. Not that Lun didn't do a good job with it the first time around...

So, who's up for this? I mean, if Lun is fine with it, this could work out well.

I wouldn't mind helping, I'm a pretty good Spriter. Mostly with Char Sets mind you. Though I might want to finish the game first... never got round to it... I think I'll do just that.

I'd prefer a new chapter in the incredible Crestfallen series rather than a re-release.

I see where you're coming from, Porter, but i see it like this:

We remake Inception Act I and II. People who remember and loved the original say "Gimme gimme", and they play to their hearts content. Then, newcomers see that alot of people are gawking over a new version of some game called Crestfallen. They try it out, hopefully they love it. Then, these oldies and newbies spread the word, and people start going crazy, comparing the RTP char sets from the original to the new custom sprites of the remake. Then, we redo Ascension, and the public erupts into hysteria. By then, The Way is completed, and Lun has signed a contract with a large game company to start distributing The Way onto handheld consoles. This boosts Crestfallen Studios into high gear. High off of adrenaline, Lun organizes a team to start creating the third Crestfallen series game while another team begins designing the Way MMORPG. And then, when Crestfallen begins taking in thousands of dollars in donations and profits...

No, but seriously. I think that remaking a classic with more advanced Charsets and tiles and crap like that would be a hit. Seriously. Think about it, guys. This could be good. (And Fitz... Overlordbill, i'd like you guys to help if we get this into action).

I'd like to help, but like overlordbill, I'm not sure what I'd do either. I never was able to get Crestfallen to work right on my computer, I'd like to see a updated version of this that I could play.

Porter, i was just messing around with that whole spill. no company out of their right mind is going to take a RM game and set it into their console.

Sage, Overlord, Iteroth, you guys can be beta-testers and stuff like that. We may send you segments of the game or the script so that you can tell us what yoiu think. I mean, you'd get credit and all.

If people could send me the resources, I could construct the main game. I have a pretty much complete understanding of the ediots, and I think I can really build up the atmosphere that Lun tried to create.

That's a good idea. Jeramyu, if you can make a decent game, that would really work. Just a few things:

---I want to script and direct the cutscenes.
---We need charset and faceset designers.
---We need someone to send Jeramyu tons of chipsets and such.
---The original games are too old for all our computers, so we need the original script/outline from the first versions of the game. *cough* Lun, please help *cough*. If anyone can access the old games, please do and help us out.

Other than that, we are set for production.

If you need a face set designer, I'll help out. They'll be hand drawn, not pixelated, though. I've never played the Crestfallen games, meaning I don't know what the characters look like and someone will either have to give me an example, or describe them(I hope Lun says yes).
