You seem to know as little about american cultural diversity as we do about australian. The U.S. is one hell of a large place, and different cultural groups settled in different areas. Most of our bragged-about cultural diversity refers to the backgrounds of individuals.

You know... I've never seen an asian in a car accident, can't say the same about women though.
:P

Oh and well wishes with the leg and stuff.
Look on the bright side, most of us would be willing to suffer constant pain in exchange for an excuse to sit around gaming anyday, I know I would.

Why can't I get hit by a car :(

Maybe if you cross your fingers and wish real hard in the middle of the road you will be as lucky as impossible.

Well, whilst getting hit by a car is pretty bad, look at the bright side, at least you didn't get hit by a double decker bus.

You need an excuse to sit around gaming?
In this day and age, an era where there are people who actually throw shit at each other, anything, could be possible.

Well I have to go to school. And it's constant pain without gaming.
Give me half a year and I'll be a bum sitting in front of a console for the rest of my life.

He should wear a shirt that says "I <3 Darwin" and stand in the middle of a...dirt(?) road in the rural south and I'm sure a pickup truck will run him down, no questions asked.

He was to fast for it....How does that involve crossing the street?

Fasting is where you deprive yourself of food and/or other necessities the body needs for a purpose, usually devotion. War obviously fasted in the name of the Pedal, the Wheel, and the General Motor and they recognised his dedication and decided he could live.

Actually, I still have to keep up with all my work. It's just infinitely harder to do work lying on my back, so in fact it's worse, and even moreso because I'm in pain and feel like shit... And still have to work. I haven't even started catching up yet.

It's getting less likely that I'm going to need more surgery, so that's good.

Whats the literal damage? I mean, you said you got hit and you're in pain, that's obvious. But I want to know what sort of damage might make them consider surgery. Was it a major fracture? Was something dislocated? I doubt you had to have a swivel joint or whatever replaced in your pelvis. You know, one of the metal replacement parts for where the femur connects to the pelvis? I know a few guys that have had to have that surgery and I'm pretty sure their reason was extensive pressure and stress on their legs because they were all football players with way too much weight on their skeletal structure. Pretty sure you don't play football, but I'm pretty sure that getting hit by a car sort of overshadows football.

But yeah, whats the damage?

Teen, you are so lucky we don't have a rule about telling random stories... otherwise I'd be quoting you and that rule every freakin' time.
