Not caring what people think about you is only slightly more pathetic than caring. Most people start to tell themselves they don't care when they realize that everyone hates them, but it doesn't mean they actually don't care.

I never understood the "I'm too mature (lying to myself) to care about your views" outlook. Mostly because the idiots at my college do it to their friends, which is really thick.

"Yeah I have friends, I don't care what they think, but I still hang out with them. No I wouldn't say I like them. No they're not really my friends. So technically I have no friends, but it's only because they don't truely understand me. Turns out I'm a closet emo".

This is, up until the "So technically I have no friends" bit... it's actually a quote from this assy guy at school who thinks he's so above everybody he can't care about their opinions (his friends, not random people because caring about random people is stupid).

getting back on topic....

i very much enjoyed this song and even got to know "the star wars kid" which is proof you should never let yourself be caught dead on video tape.

I either do or have a friend who who qualifies for 95% of everything in that song. so yeah.. i thoroughly enjoyed it... you might alos like "Don't Download this Song" which can be downloaded form wierd al's homepage.
