I agree with everyone who said that Superman is an overpowered, sucky superhero. The others are cooler, but Superman would still kick their asses. He's just boring.

Theres more truth in that than you know telephalsion. Superman actually does die. and then is revived. And dies again!

How could any of you like Superman? He's a commie! Its the American way to hate communism even though half of us can't pronounce it, and the other half doesn't know what it means.

People used to talk about remembering where they were when John F. Kennedy died. Well, I remember where I was when Superman died. I was at a late meeting, and just as we were breaking up, somebody pointed out that it was midnight.

"It's on sale," "It's here," "He's dead," People began muttering. I, never having been a fan of post-1980 comic books (or of Superman, although my brother was then a rabid follower of the Man of Tomorrow), wasn't sure what they were talking about. So they reminded me that Superman was slated to die, and, in fact, had died just at midnight, when the last issue of the Doomsday saga went on sale.
