happeneds isn't a word, either.

Eh? What do you mean? My sister went to your filthy country and she came back very tan after wearing spf 70 the whole damn time. How bad is it? I'll kill her if she's lying. I never liked her anyways.

Is she Russian? They have no clue how to put on sun cream.

Anyway, I couple of things I forgot first:

The openings in the streets smell like Bangkok at its worst. I'm told it's not actually the sewers but something else, and I don't really care either way. >_<

Also, lines. In Melbourne, you'd NEVER have to wait in line to get into a restaurant, and then wait in line again to get to the bathroom inside that restaurant.

The musical was decent, but those things are pretty expensive, so I wouldn't really say it was worth the money. I saw the Producers in Melbourne (I think the only place it was besides NY until it finally finished there late last year), and that was better.

Friday, December 31, Day 4 - New York
Six Fucking Lines

The place with a computer was closed for New Year's Eve, so I wasn't able to get on until now.

Yesterday we left early to try and see the Today Show at Rockefeller Center. It was a pretty stupid idea, and one of my older brother's many time-wasting plans.

Then we went and waited in line for over an hour and a half to go to the top of the Empire State Building. It wasn't worth it. Like it says up there; SIX lines for some crappy view of New York. Big deal.

We walked down towards Central Park, and went to F.A.O. Shwarz, which is a massive, massive toy store. The first floor was composed almost entirely of stuffed animals and candy stores. Bah.

I'll post about today later, but I'll probably save my pointless rant about New Year's Eve/Day for another topic when I get back.

No, it's always near the gutters and openings, comign from white smoke-ish stuff.

An observation about New York: In Australia, when you get food, many restaurants try to be as stingy as possible and cut back on something like meat or chicken, or just give you a big bowl which half of is just the edge and only part of it holds food. Here, you can get a sandwich so big it's practically falling down. They're both generalisations, but it overall seems to be common.

Yesterday I bought DKC2 on impulse, just because it costs so much more to buy it at home. I realised very quickly it was kinda stupid, because the store also had SMA4 and FE...

The difference between game stores in Australia and America is really awful. In Australia, both GCN PSO games had only a few hundred copies (I've heard one or two hundred). Here, they just sit on the shelf for nearly AU$30 less. In Australia, finding ANY Megaman game, like the BN and Zero games, and MMAC, is nearly impossible. Here they just sit there, nearly $30 less. It sucks.

I played Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt today. Jumping is shit. Strafing can't possibly work like in the normal MP games. But it's fun otherwise. I hope I can get a DS...

Sounds like someone hit the Carnegie Deli.

What the fuck are you talking about? Games in America are around AU$30 CHEAPER than in Australia, you dumbfucks. That's about US$23.

It wasn't just the Carnegie Deli... Although I did go there, and it was awesome. I would have been twice, but there was a massive line outside the second time (while there was none the first for some reason). Which just balances out the better things about New York restaurants, then, doesn't it? >_<

I'm certain there's something I've forgotten, AGAIN... I'm seeing another show tonight for some reason; 42nd Street (I'm told it was originally shown in a theater on... 42nd Street). But I'll I'm actually doing is going on a CNN Tour and around Central Park. Then I'll spend as much time as possible playing Donkey Konga at the Pokemon Center. >_> <_<

Edit: Oh, by the way, someone is pissing me off. I managed to get MSN on here (although it didn't work last time) yesterday. Today it's vanished, and some ass-clown installed Yahoo, complete with annoying toolbar I can't get rid of.
