About "Ascension". Ascension was a friggin' masterwork. All though Lun didn't actually steal it from me. Fobo did. Am I the only genetically enhanced nano-augmented air assault tactical combat uber monkey who reads credits? FOBO stole Ascension, and Ascension kicked ass.

yeah, i'm kinda confused. but anyway, now Jeramy and i are remaking it, so it doesn't really matter. i doubt we will remake Ascension, seeing as how it does not pertain to the general plotline.

Inception is so simple...

No problem, actually it's a good reason to get me back into writing some music. Also, I do have some decent sampled instruments, and Fruityloops, so if need be, I can take a midi or two and convert them over into mp3 format so they sound better. However, as we all know, mp3 files are hundreds of times larger than midi, so I wouldn't recommend doing that to all the tracks.... (Although I might anyways, and find someplace to post them so everyone here can hear them) But having the title and the credits in mp3 might be a nice touch....just some food for thought.

Also, I ran into a little snag about the finale music files. It seems that though notepad can read finale 2001 files, the reverse is not true, and the basic free software can't export midi....So, i just went ahead and shelled out the 25 dollars for notepad "plus", which CAN export to midi form (as well as import and save/as)...and midis I -can- tinker with at home ^_^ So, no more snag. I'll continue working on stuff in my free time. Rest assured now that ideas are starting to come to me, I should be moving at a steady (though a little slow) pace.

Just, I'll go ahead and e-mail you that sketch now. It's not finished, and I intend to do more with it, but I wanted your opinion on the music idea. Er, Rather I'll e-mail it when i get home. Have a chem exam to prepare for now.

no, just kidding. yeah, you're right, it is a pretty short, simple game when you think about it, and that's what i'm trying to put in the script, and what Jeramyu is trying to do with the game. i can already tell that our new version of Inception is going to be even longer than the original based solely on the fact that we have good plans laid out.

we may, this is up to Jeramyu, keep all of the original mini-games, plus add a few of our design. don't know what the future will bring... but its gonna be AWESOME!!

I've finished sprites for Act 1. I created/generated 38 total (some reusable for Act 2). When I get time, I'll upload some for you to sample.

Seperate one for Palmin (Crestfallen)
One for Exmus (the last honored Warden)
One for Night (Woe ninja)
One for Domitian (Gilead commander)
One for Kayala (Mysterious Gilean woman)
One for Galland (an Archaya commander)
one for Darcius (assassinated illuminarch)
one for Johnny (friend of Midian)
One for Mathias (friend of Midian)
One for the Gilead soldiers
One for the royal soldiers
one for Archaya soldiers
one for each member of Arien's Crestfallen Few (i'll explain; email me)
one for the officials in the town (wine, tax, etc.)
one for Sinder (the prisoner who Midian needs)

and that's all i can think of so far (sorry, but without the ones i've named, the game will end up looking like a RM95 game where there are about ten charsets, and no true distinction in characters) ... but yes, i DEFINITELY want a seperate custom charset for each of the Crestfallen.
