A community game?

Has anyone thought of making a community game? Because some ideas just hit me all of sudden (it hurt).

So, in summary,

Lun is captured by the Blue Scarves. We need to go into our computers to rescue him so he can finish the series.

Too simple. We should get split up and have to find each other.
(LOTS OF STUFF HAPPENS. EVERYONE IS FOUND)

After we find and rescue Lun, (after a big battle scene) he thanks us, but uses his now godlike powers to teleport out, (why couldn't he do it before? He decided to test us to see if we deserved the rest of the series because it's THAT GOOD. Seriously, it's a community game, stop reading into it.) but is so intent on finishing the series he forgets us. At which time a big "To be xontinued" floats up on screen. Whether or not it actually is would be decided later.

So, I'm somewhat good at modifying charsets, I do suck at the programming though. I think this could have a lot of potential, and it doesn't just need to be a comical game. We could probably get drama in there if we tried.

So, does anyone else like this idea, or at least wanna criticize? I'd need help with just about everything.

Haha. Porter did some stupid community game. He took months to finish it and it was about five minutes long. Jeramyu was supposed to do the next chapter, and then War the final one I think. Except by the time Porter finished, Jeramyu was sort of bored of the idea I think and War was supposed to go last, and then I drove him off.

Yeah. We all played PSO at one point.

The thing is, I'd want to make a funny game, but one that could hold it's own.

I think you misunderstood me. Porter's community game actually was stupid. It must be hosted somewhere, maybe he'll link to it.

Play it again and I'm sure you'll stop arguing with me.

Count me in. Even though I lack in terms of pixel art, I figure that my years and years of experience with Java, C, and my days of toying with UNIX shell accounts would more than likely make RM2K childs play to me. Also, I've got some humorous ideas for such a fan based game. Anyhow, I've got my AIM address and my MSN is takarious@hotmail.com

A real community game would be great. On the condition that my special ability be the >_> Cannon.

Impossible, I conclude the only solution between a debate with the both of us is simply to agree to disagree. What say you? T_T

And we get special abilities? Whoa, I want to be able to summon exploding Woolies.

From what I've seen, Verb goes where he's needed...like a hero or a good playah. And you don't use Mirc, so you wouldn't know he goes on occasionally, or the following:

<iamtheverb> I like chocolate with a high percentage of cocoa
<iamtheverb> preferably 70 percent or higher.

k, now I gtg, so stuff of your choice goes here
