WOOHOO! Finally, after about a month of job hunting lol. Got a job as a lab assistant in a pharmaceutical R&D company. Apparently i'm working in the quality control dept. :P Good stuff, and fits well with what i'm doing in school...since I started organic chem this term :P We had our first exam today. I think I did okay, hoping for an A, but I probably got a B -.-

In other news, been working on some music for a friend of mine. His team's working on some kinda racing game project down at Full Sail for their final, and so i've been working on "happy/upbeat techno" for the last month or so. Just finished up a third tune for them which I need to send to them so I can get opinions, and see if they want me to change anything :P *makes note to work on a score screen theme next*

Yeah, I know i haven't shown my face around in awhile, but i've been dropping by occasionally to read up on stuff. Life just got busy on me is all hehe, not that I really expect anyone to care. Sounds like Lun's been really busy too. Best of luck to him and his coursework :)

So, how's the rest of the crew doing? And Porter, how's your music been coming along?

I work at at pharmacy too. I applied by seeing a "Driver wanted: Inquire inside" Sign outside the pharmacy, which I happened to see while casually getting some shoes since my old ones had holes...well, just about everywhere... I deliver from 3-6 on weekdays, but business has been slow this week.....But I helped my Boss compose a formal request for some permit (the english language and its rules of grammar are not his strong point...even with word processing and spell check), which apparently is going to help him expand his business, which means I can work more often...I haven't worked all week! Huzzah!...?

Will work for food or Ops......Ops, definitely.

Get on your knees Teen, pleasure Jera and me for a couple weeks and we'll see.

My music has gone no where. No drum set in my apartment, or good amplifier. :P

Good job with the assistant job, pretty good job, but it can't beat my gravy job. Which ends this Sunday :(

No. I ask her for money and she gives money to me. And sometimes, I don't ask for any money and she still gives me money,

Aye, likewise here. It's just a part time temp job for 6 months, but it's good experience, and will look nice on my resume :D I've been working from 10am to 6pm M W and F. But I'll be starting noon to 8pm on monday. Heh, apparently I get to have a lab key for locking the place up :P It's sitting pretty on my keychain next to my house key. Anyhoo, it's been pretty fun working there. The lab staff are utterly hilarious. Not a single clean minded individual among them....although Andrew comes close :P My supervisor is a collector of anime via torrent, so kudos to him for being a fellow anime geek :P

Today was a bit long. Started out doing some cleaning, and started a formulation wash, but after lunch, my priority was to get to work preparing anaerobic dilution media, since they were running low, and my first attempt at making roller tube media (which involves yeast extract and bacto agar) didn't turn out all that great. I'm blaming a faulty carbon dioxide tank since it was near empty, and it went bad on my supervisor when he used it the next day. Anyways, I managed to get 64 tubes prepared from the Agar solution before it became too solidified to work with, and half of those passed inspection...which isn't that great, but it was what I was expecting :P We generally try to get -at least- about 80% of the tubes to pass inspection.

Er, got off track, anyways, ended up getting out of there around 6:35ish since I was helping out wrapping stuff up for autoclaving.

Oh, this morning was kinda funny. We were sitting around having our morning fika, which we usually have around 10:00ish. So we're kinda yammering on about stuff, and joking, and snacking when the CEO walks in to grab some coffee....and we kinda vacated the premises *lol* Later, my supervisor was like..."yeah, kinda like when you turn on the light and all the cockroaches run for cover" and I responded "Hey...I think I resent that remark" and he was like "Hey, I fled the area too :P"

Okay, i'm done ranting i think...except to say that it seems my ... er... usual inhibitions for being sick minded are lowered a little when i'm around the lab staff :P Ah well, some of the higher ups have doubled over laughing at my peanut gallery comments, so all's good :D
