I just developed a stupid conspiracy theory and unleashed it onto IMVU. That thing has been an infinite source of hilarity so far.

Ok War you're right, but this topic was about halfway down the 1st page. I didn't check dates. No I don't know Holstein, he's probably great, but out of 4 posts I have seen by him he has said "funny" things which are a bit close to home. I'm sure he's just joking, but being sarcastic about things which are pure evil is just retarded, and always will be.

Actually, sarcasm and humour is a good way to stop negative feelings on certain topics. Of course everybody thinks rape and murder are wrong in reality but some find it easier to cope with something if they can laugh at it.

To me, making jokes like this is just a way of mocking the idiots who commit these crimes, while in my social circle we'd mock them as we'd mock somebody who hasn't commited them as well as for what they've done.

As somebody who can take these jokes in good nature I'm dissapointed to see somebody who doesn't just plainly state they are offended by such jokes rather than insulting the person at heart. Just because somebody can take something in good measure and make fun of it doesn't mean they are a "retard" as you put it.
