Maybe they realised that it's summer on the northern hemisphere and went out to get tanned and take a dip in the cool ocean

I do, well not exazctly next to, only about 10 miles to it, although i live next to one quite big river.

ok ok....i admit, our system is dumb.
but if you get both systems (metric and american) everything makes more sense

1 foot is 12 inches, crazy system, thank got for the metric, 1 kilometer is 1000m
oh and 1 inch is 2.54 cm i think

i live about 480 inches from the ocean. does that count as living near the ocean?......not that i really count on forum....only been here a little while.
