Hey guys. I don't know what they're called, but you know those sprite sheets that are all the little moves that the sprite can do, before they're bundled into one sprite? For instance,

How do you get these into one sprite, and if I wanted a certain row of them only (for instance, row 5 with the uppercut), how would I do that?

This depends on how you define a sprite.
What engine are you using?

Well, since it's late at night, I haven't been around the internet much lately, and back when I WAS around computers I still wasn't great at technical terms, I'm gonna say...Windows XP? If that's the engine, hooray. And I define a sprite as a happy little guy who does a small set of motions, then runs out of them, blips a little bit, and starts back from the first motion.

I think he means a moving one. So basically a moving image that happens to be of a game sprite.

Cut/Paste the frames you want to animate into separate files, then organize them into an animation using any gif animator.
Iteroth's tip of the day: Unfreez Animator
This animator is freeware and really easy to use, you simply drag and drop the frame images into the window and select the rate at which you want the frames to play.
