Pirates are a big thing here, so why hasn't anyone mentioned the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie? Does everyone expect it to suck? Or are you all just fat and ugly?

Seriously though, the first movie was a pretty good pirate movie, it had a nice feel to it and some decent actors. Johnny Depp does make a pretty good pirate.

I hope they don't fuck the established history of earlier pirate stories such as treasure island.

Cuase I can really see them deciding "captain jack sparrow" solving every mystery and getting every treasure there is.

Yeah, as long as they haven't fucked it up like every other sequel ever, I definitely want to see it. The first movie was great.

I just came back from the cinema, it's not as good as the first (obviously) but it was ok. Will Turner was still as cardboard as he was in the first movie, but overall i'd say it's worth a watch.

I own the first movie, Johnny Depp is great in it. I'll probably see the new one over the weekend.

Hey, not ALL sequels are bad. My evidence is "Toy Story 2" and "Godfather Part 2", both better than their predecessor.
