Where most people would slow down for pedestrians, Asians speed up to get past before them, crossing the road and in other situations... The first time I went to Bangkok, I was actually scared to cross the road sometimes.
Also, flashing lights and doors opening on a tram mean you fucking stop. End of story, not my fault. THAT'S THE ENTIRE REASON THEY'RE THERE. Why have a system in place to prevent injuries when there are people too dumb for it to work on?
