Pulp Fiction. Rocky Horror Picture Film. Fight club.

Some movies are just so fuckin' badass that people love them for years and years and always convince their friends that those movies are the best of all time.

Who else can relate to this, and what other movies apply to this category?

Monty Python, every person has a favourite among the films they made.

Personally I love the search for the holy graal.
NI!

So I can totally relate to that. Also, Shawshank redemtpion might be the best prison movie ever, seen it like seven times now, it doesn't get booring.

Personally, Quest for the Holy Grail was my first favorite movie. But everyone loved them. Those crazy british...

Monty Python and the Holy Grail is a great movie, although the ending was stupid. Fight Club was an awesome movie and the ending was a little stupid, but at least it was still awesome, not horribly lame.

As for one of mine... Donnie Darko. It's far from perfect, but what's there is brilliant even if it makes no sense.

Fight Club was awesome. 'was' being the keyword, because I don't think it will seem as good once you've seen it once and know everything.

The Holy Grail, is definately my favorite Monty Python movie.

I've been meaning to go see Donnie Darko, I've heard good things.

Other than that I really don't know much... I need to get out more.

Pulp Fiction, definitely. You can't do any better than Samuel L. Jackson raining his vengeance upon druggies.

And on that note, Quentin Tarantino has produced some pretty suck ass movies lately. He's just slowly become worse and worse, kind of like Stevie Wonder.

Grind House looks like it'll be good though, so it's maybe a little too soon to formulate my opinion.

Monty Python's The Meaning of Life. Best Python movie ever. Eric Idle is so great when he's the protestant wife.

Fight club was great, but it doesn't have any miniguns and/or chainguns in it. To acheive 10 out of 10 a movie has to have at least 1 multi-turreted machine gun.

No, that would rule out all monty python films. You fail!

Oh yeah, there might have been one there. But it still rules out others.

Doesn't prevent them from awesome though, in fact, it doesn't stop them getting 9.9 recurring, which, theoritcally, is better than 10, as recurring numbers never end and so therefore would actually be infinity/unlimited. I don't know, stop confusing me.
Nah, I realise now that my previous statement is flawed. But having at least 1 multi-turretted machine gun does instantly give a movie 2 points of awesomeness, unless, of course, the movie is shit.

Try watching it again. I seriously doubt you caught everything the first time through. Sure, maybe you caught that last splice, but watch the movie again.

And Tele, I just realized why you said 'graal' instead of 'grail'. I remembered some story about a GraalKönig and then I laughed. I laughed well.

9,9 is smaller than 10.
