By this time next week that could be the case, as in this years GA-XXVI the International Astronomical Union is voting on what it "now" takes to be a planet. This could mean that 3 new planets are added right away and counting Pluto which would now be 100% a planet(kind of, a double planet as its moon would also be a planet now)

Also along with the 3 new comers, which are Ceres(The new 5th planet), Charon(the old Pluto moon) and 2003UB313, there could be up to 43 other new planets added as time goes on

In other news, shatmaster gets roasted on comedy central in T-minus one hour over here.

I doubt that anyone will be forced to know any planets other than the classical 8, and maybe pluto/charon

I don't really watch that show very often, but if he did make that joke, that means that his sense of humor is on par with mine. I actually did do a third grade science project on the planets, as did most of the hundreds of millions of people in the United States, so I believe it's fair to say that at least 2 people of the 300-something million can make the same joke about such an event.

Well the voting was done and Pluto is no longer a planet as well as all the other new guys. Instead it is a dwarf planet now.
