I think it's time we discuss bleach.

There will be spoilers.

So I've re-read through the manga now, I'm about halfway there, and I've noticed that Ichigo's hollow mask changes every time it appears.
The first time around it had two coloured stripes, the next time it was three, then it was four, I'm still looking for changes.

It might represent his hollow gaining power. Also, when he uses it in chapter 280 he has most of he left side coloured.

Do any of you have thougts on bleach?

It's a badass series and my only regret is that I never really finished watching it, let alone got to read any of the manga.

I haven't really read any of the manga on it, but I watch it every week when DB puts it out. Its kind of funny since I am downloading the latest one.

Don't watch, it's filler.

Anyways, I hope this series wont go on forever, even though it's great, I don't want to read it when I'm 60 years old.

It's similar to that rant Aegis posted... people judge anime based on their graphics and early-age chars. Unless of course if the series runs out of ideas and turns out like the Simpsons situation.

If I watched anime based on looks alone I would not be watching One Piece.. sometimes the animations are just plain crap, but the styory makes up for it.

I'll never understand why people like One Piece.

I'm downloading the manga right now, I hope its better than the series. I redownloaded a few of the first episodes. The filler they shoved in there is just so ...SHAMELESS it's terrible!


Meh, I'll unzip the manga when I've got all 277 ish volumes.

Honestly, I wish they had gone into a second filler arch in which they killed of every filler character and simultaneously got far enough behind the manga so they wouldn't need anymore filler. It's annoying to have this filler mini-arch, and worse to have to deal with a bunch of filler characters talking to each other and having stupid fights in what is supposed to be a dramatic scene.

As for One Piece... Yeah, I don't understand its appeal at all.

Despite horrible fillers and various things that piss people off, it's a great series, and there's a great deal of foreshadowing that you just have to see put to light.
Atleast they're closing in on the last part of their journey, which'll be awesome.

All right, I've got about a hundred downloaded right now, but I'm wondering... I've seen most of first story arc, where they go to Soul Society the first time. I should have just asked you which general area to start off from, huh?

I'd advise you to read the chapters right after "memories in the rain", there are some plot things not mentioned in the anime. Such as the fate of Grand Fisher.
