Think about this.

Okay, so just SAY that all of the people of the world came together and held hands...in outer space...in the shape of a giant crab claw. Do you think that if everyone used their arms just right that they could make the claw pincer?
ALSO: If you don't think so, you can have a pole at the bottom connecting part of the claw. It would SO work, ask a physicist.

Wouldn't it all be down to the two people either side of the pole moving around said pole. Otherwise I'd say it'd be more like making your thumb and index finger touch then straighten out, then touch again.
The downside of course is that in space there'd be no resistance to stop the pincer-ing motion, so unless the two people holding the pole were pumped, the two lines of people would just all float into one another.

This has to be the greatest poll question ever.

With a pole probably, but without it, half of the people would move their wrong arm or something and the rest would just stare and ask if someone could repeat the instructions for the fifth time because they didn't listen.

Irrelevant. Their blood vessels would explode from the lack of pressure in about five seconds

They're wearing space suits.

If would work, hands down.
Maybe jsut once due to the sheer lack of friction in space, but still, it'd work.
