Seriously though, it's a shame, D&D just lost a great source of creative thinking and whatnot, and what worse is that tons of people will now sare their sorrows with things like:
No temple can ressurect him now.
His character sheet is lost.
He's off to the eternal dungeon crawl.

Almost every RPG engine has taken influences from D&D.

Regardless...I'm grateful to this man, whoever the hell he really was. I appreciate the Idea of him, if such a thing is possible. I appreciate him knowing him as the Father of D&D, which inspired so many fun games and such. He left his mark on this world, and now he's gone. So it goes.

Sling, War has been here longer, he's higher up than you in the pecking order. If you want to rise above him, you need to do some serious gladiator shit.
