Internet Literature

So I dropped out of uni a few weeks ago and to fill the boredom I've downloaded and read through all of Ranma 1/2, Air Gear (heh boobies), The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and nearly caught up to the latest Berserk.
As far as online comic go I've always been a fan of CAD and VG cats, found Questionable Content (
http://www.questionablecontent.net) which I daresay is better than both. Started reading it at midnight one day and it kept me up 11 hours.. when I slept for 4 hours and promptly continued reading as soon as I woke up.
But I'm running out of material, so what have you guys read and liked?
edit: Oh and Electric Retard (
http://www.electricretard.com). Can
not forget Electric Retard.

I read sixty of the questionable content comics just now. Not very good. In fact, lamish. Especially whenever the girl spoke. I defy you to find one chick like that on earth who isn't actually a man/online predator.

Yeah, I just read quite a few of the QC comics myself, and I find myself agreeing with Glenn. It just seems to be a tad on the annoyingly trendy on purpose side. I mean, for starters ... they work in a coffee shop for fuck's sake! But I'll have to check out the other ones mentioned, though.
Here's another one if you like something that is sometimes humorous but will, regardless, probably leave a "WTF" feeling in your mouth:
Red Meat

Go back to university
You still have to pay for everything and you don't even get a degree out of it.

No discussion of great webcomics would be complete without mentioning
http://buttersafe.org. You're welcome.

It was only my first semester so they don't keep track of my marks or anything, it's just like I never went, well plus $3000 to pay off. I figure better to drop out now that I know it's not my thing rather than rack up a few more semesters of debt first.
I'm missing having something to do, the intelligent environment, and of course the chicks. Seriously, you don't need softcore porn when you can just hang around the exit to a room while a business lecture is finishing.
Havn't looked at a lot of SMBC, but it's worthwhile so far. xkcd isn't laugh out loud humor, but I'm enjoying it just out of how fucking smart the writer is. There's nothing wrong with general humor, but xkcd is like having inside jokes for people who've passed grade 12 physics and maths It's awesome. I havn't gotten around to looking at the rest yet, but so far so good.

My friend quit his 2 year college course 2 months away from finishing so he get a job at a supermarket. 2 months later he got laid off.
So how come you quit Uni? You didn't like the course or Uni in general?

The campus itself was awesome, but yeah, uni didn't suit me. I was doing a double degree; bachelor of Engineering(Electrical) / bachelor of IT which was pretty sweet because IT was easy and I want to get into electrical stuff as a career, but a) Engineering Maths is fucking hard and boring, b) I got tired of sitting down every day and not really doing anything hands-on, felt like I wasn't really learning anything. I just figure I must be more of a tradesman.
Of course if I end up as store manager for some fastfood joint for the rest of my life, well fuck.
What are all you guys doing anyway? I figure a fair few are still in school, but you're all pretty smart so you must have some idea.

I did a National Diploma in IT and I got a triple merit and I've just finished a First Diploma in music. I got distinction for my Grade 1 music theory and today I have to do Grade 1 for guitar. I would go into detail of how easy Grade 1 is but at the moment I really can't be bothered.

I went to my community college for a year. Boring shit there, failed a few classes just through lack of interest. But I'm going to Bemidji State University next year as a music performance major, which my cc didn't offer anyway, so I'll be getting my life on track now. My grades should be good now too, since music is a constant part of me already, I'll force myself to find the drive.
Instead of quitting completely why not just apply somewhere better? I'd hate to hear anyone on this forum ended up in fast food at the age of 45.

Starting college this fall at the University of Maryland, majoring in computer science. We'll see how that goes.
