This may be my last thread.
Hurricane Frances is heading towards Indian River county, which happens to be where I live. If I don't post for a long time after this Saturday, you can assume that I have been either killed by the storm or my computer has, which is basically the same thing to the kinds of people who use this forum.
And no, I don't have a will.

If I survive, I'm going to buy Pizza Hut, lock, stock and middle-aged black woman.

What about flying away? What happens if the wind picks up and you get thrown into the air like Dorothy's house?

Why don't you evacuate and take the computer with you?
I mean, you might not have a plug to return to, but still

Why don't you use your god-like abilities to veer the hurricane off course? I know that's what I'd do.
Seriously though man, good luck.

Here's a pretty picture of Frances in case any non-Americans don't know how it looks (I suppose it's been all over the news in the US).

And tomorrow morning, the storm hits. I hope it makes landfall on Palm Beach and kills many of those damn ignorant Palm Beachers.
EDIT: In Florida, the hurricane is quite literally the only thing the public news stations talk about. On the bigger NY-based stations like FOX or CNN, Hurricane Frances seems to be a minor event.

That's because we New Yorkians aren't in danger of dying. You crazy Southerners are.

Although the back-draft from the last hurricane completed flooded one New York town nearby my home town.
Poor people. They thought they were safe from stuff like this. The Floridians knew what they were doing when they went there, so it's their or their parents' faults, but we New Yorkers don't deserve this

Yeah, but we Floridians don't get many drive-bys.
Well, not as many as you.
