A great undertaking...

This Saturday, my good friend Alex will be undertaking a feat of immense proportions.

The Story: Mike drank 72 beer in 48 hours.
The Solution: Alex wants to drink 72 beer in 24 hours.
The Catch: Succeeding would be fatal, so we're gonna help him by stealing his beer.

... And he's paying for it all. :D

We'll be filming it for a school project, which we'll probably get in a lot of trouble for. I'll try to get the final project online. Also, a friend will be bringing a digital camera (if he even shows up), so I may be able to put up some stills sooner than the video.

But knowing Alex, it might not even happen at all. Total cost would be about $110. Wish us luck.

BTW, if anyone wants to donate some free webspace on a reliable server to me, I'm thinking of setting up a site in the near future. Nothing like a plea to cap off a great post.

Well, I doubt he'll be posting again. He will either die or no longer have the ability to operate a computer.

Mike (who moved away) has found out about this attempt at his record, and he's responding with setting a new one. Alex is going to outdo him before he even has a chance to beat him. Or something. Not only that, but Alex is switching to a more expensive beer.

Anyway, it's going to cost more, and we're thinking of switching from bottles to the sheer power of the keg. Either way, it's been delayed to next weekend.

New total cost will be about $150 or more depending on what we decide on.

But the good news is, I won't have to finish all the beer he can't, so I'll be alive to post for another exciting week. :P

Poison Control, not 911, but we didn't have to use it after all. :P

One of the guys decided to be the designated driver, so instead of having to split the keg 4 ways, we had to split it only 3 ways. There was no way we could finish it. Each of us would have to drink 48. Uggg I feel so sick.

If that weren't bad enough, we couldn't find anyone who wanted to donate his house to this project, so we made it into a bush party, only with too few people. Of course the cops check the woods now because of all the idiots who use the site. So we had to leave the keg and run from the cops. I don't think they even saw us, but you know how it is when you're loaded.

But anyway, I almost got caught by my silly old mother. I tried to talk my way out of it, but being creative at 2:30 AM while hammered is kind of hard. I managed to convince her that this was the first time, and that I'll never let it happen again, so I got off with being grounded for a month.

For Porter: This means that the halloween thing it off for sure. She didn't like the idea to begin with, and asking her now would mean certain death.

So, to summarize, I'm a big ol' fool, but it sure was a wild adventure. BTW, I'm never drinking again. ( )

I'll post them pics as soon as my friend sends them to me. The video turned out totally black, with the faint sound of people talking, so it's not worth the effort.
