If any of you use RPG Maker XP, you'll know they can play MP3s for background music.

(By the way, if you don't have RPG Maker XP, and you want it, and no one wants to give you a link, you can pick it up here... http://www.rpginfinity.com/ just click on "RPG Maker XP" under "Newest Stuff".

Anyways, if you guys like using music from Square games, or possibly some other games... umm... yes, other games, you can pick up alot of nice mp3s here - http://www.bluelaguna.net

You'll love it there ><. They have complete mp3 sets for every Final Fantasy game, a few other Square-Enix games, and like 3 other ones too, check it out!

Yeah, you're best off using mp3s in RMXP, because a crappy awful souding EQ chorus/echo effect is automatically applied to any midi.

Yeah that was a real pain in the neck... and mp3s are better than .ogg too since oggs take so damn long to load up! It's like a 4 second lag with those things... (Atleast ogg files as big as UT2K4 music).

Nice site, I needed a Chrono Cross MP3 anway, so... perfect timing. Two of the download mirrors are on Long Island, too bad these things download fast enough already.

I decided I hate RMXP because of the battle system and the map making is a hell of a lot more annoying. But I will need a lot of music for when I play Halo 2 next week.

well, you know, you can edit the battle system very easily in the script editor thing. You can just tell it to show your characters on the side, and the mosnters on the left, ect... It's pretty easy... just find a programmign forum which helps Ruby users in RMXP, and they'll help you.
