Big Three current standings:

PA - pretty much for Kerry

Florida - leaning towards Bush

Ohio - leaning towards Bush

If Kerry loses both Florida and Ohio the election is pretty much over.

Sorry Porter, Wisconsin probably won't be very important.

if Kerry grabs Ohio and California, Wisconsin would be a MUST for Bush

lets say Kerry wins by 7 electoral votes, which is a scenario here. Now was Wisconsin important?

Umm...actually. Any of the midwest states combined would be the deciding factor. In actuality, PA, Florida and Ohio are the key states. They have been for a while. The most heavily visited state in the nation was PA I think. Wisconsin is kind of a backup. It was originally thought to be important but recently it was put into a second tier.
