What do you think? Should Lun redo the crestfallen games? I think if he redid them with rpg2k or rpg2k3, they could become bigger than they did as their original format...

i dunno, it was just a thought. what da you guys think?

This is a definate yes. The possibilites are great. I'd love to see the survival horror-esque theme in Inception Act 2 accentuated upon. And the evil-cult shrine would be sweet. I the day-to-day events of Southwall scenario would be mad cool if they're improved.

This thread does have a point... I'm trying to convince lun to maybe redo the games once he is done with The Way. and if he dudn't want to, then he could always turn that one fiction that silent-empath worked on into a game... (the one with the shadow foot escorting a prisoner through the mountains).... that could make a cool game if some things were changed.

Anyway, please vote, peeps. like Jeramyu, i'd like to see these old-timers get an upgrade into coolness...

i'm reading it right now, and it's pretty good, you and chip put the most detail in your entries than anyone else, i think.

I can't even play the damn game. And if somethings too old for my comp, theres something wrong there.

If Lun wanted to redo the game, and was unable to convert a single part of the series into a newer rpg maker, it would take him the same amount of time to make it as the first time. I don't think Lun would waste his precious time redoing something that's already decent.

I really like Act 2. I'd make it scarier if I remade it.

On the other hand, Glenn is right. I generally prefer creating "new things".

When I tried playing Crestfallen, it was really buggy and glitchy, I think someone mentioned that it doesn't work properly in Windows XP or something. Or maybe RM95 is just really crap. Either way, I'd actually be able to play it if that happened.

But Lun has so much more he can do that he hasn't done yet, so I guess new stuff comes first. Anyway... *whips Lun* What are you doing here? Back to work! Bad dog!

Here's a thought, rather than Lun doing all of this, why doesn't someone else?
I remember someone saying that they were going to attempt a Crestfallen remake, why not get together a team and go for it? Or, if that's not your boat, just use Lun's pre-existing charsets and BGs and make a Way fan game.

Just because Lun's the best at this, doesn't mean he's the only one that can do it.

We could attempt to make a fangame of either one afterwards, Lun has been pretty good with describing the worlds and waht applies there so it's fully possible.

How does Lun feel about others making fan games of The Way? I think this question has been asked and answered before, but I can't remember the answer.
