They say that "It's a rather small city with around 200 inhabitants." The guitar mini-game doesn't hurt, either. I like the game for when I need to cool off and wander. Eventually, though, everything--no matter what the size--can be totally memoized.

Perhaps I shall play it some time. I don't have the free time I did when I was 17, but thanks for the tip. It does seem a bit small though. I'd like to see a game with miles and miles of streets, that no normal person could ever completely master.

It's certainly better than anything you'd find normally, though. Definately worth the time if you've the creativity to master it, and every time I play it, I'm always coming to one point where I think to myself, "But I thought that was supposed to bring me THERE..." and "Now, WHERE was that, again...?"

The game in and of itself is also quite marvelous aside from the huge city. The storyline is always shocking you, and the plot always makes itself telltale if you've met the prerequisites to continue (i.e. a certain party, a certain time period, etc.) I'm trying hard not to be too descriptive, lest I ruin some of the major points in the game or the general flow for you.

The price is most likely extremely low by now due to the game not selling and the company preoccupied with other games, I assume. Hard to find, though. Practically impossible to just by taking a stroll through the local EB or something.

I bet it didn't sell because people were too impatient/uncreative to get far, then just spread the impossibly pessimistic and undeserving jeers around by the bushel.

You may be pleasently suprised by E6. I've run through it once before de-bugging. but Lun is still doing some cool stuff with it. One mini-game in particular (completely debugged) was better than anything I've played yet. I mean it was sweet. even my 18 month old was entranced by it.
the bad new is it still required almot 100 more manhours to bring it to completion, and Lun's been having trouble staying motivated lately.

How could Lun have trouble staying motivated, when there are so many people who worship him?

Oh, well, nobody cares about you Rangi, so that's understandable. :P

Your drawings are pretty awesome, though. I think I mentioned something in my novelization about them. Incidentally, I also lack motivation to write at the moment. :x

Doesn't your novelization (which kicks ass, by the way) only cover part of Chapter 1? I mean, that's all that's on the site, and a forum search didn't show me anything new. But yeah, it didn't say anything about them.

Yes, so far I'm still in Episode 1. It's really difficult it is to change the stuff with Belson into a proper story, and I've had a few ideas so far to mess with.

Lack of motivation????

Postby LunC » Wed Sep 29, 2004 11:27 pm

The idea that I am having trouble staying motivated is false.

I am working on several projects to the best of my ability with every spare moment I have. I am very excited about my work and always have been. For me, there is always something fresh and exciting about my work. I only wish that there was more time in a day so that I could get more done.

Staying motivated is not difficult for me. I dearly love every project that I am involved with. There is no "lack of motivation".

I agree, and I think we should kill fwacho or something. He tortures us constantly! THE PAIN NEVER ENDS!

I really don't mean to torture ya'll, but Lun won't let me come out and say some things. I've been censored three times (all within about 1 hour of post). What I try to do is encourage your imagination in the right general direction. Pay attention to the little things and foreshadowing and much can be learned.
