But wouldn't the best way to keep us quit be by keeping us too busy playing EP6 to say anything else?

Okay, now I'm kind of pissed off.

I got bumped down FIVE waves from E5. Why exactly was I capable of being in Wave 2 last year, but even though I'm MORE qualified for the job now, I'm in Wave 7? And why are some complete morons and n00bs and non-forum members in earlier waves than me?

I got wave 9. It's basically like I get it early, since the major bugs should be fixed.

I prefer to be in an earlier wave, so there's actually some novelty in keeping both the beta and final versions of the game.

I tend to have lots of bad luck, so I find more glitches (like the ones that force you to restart the game). And if there's a single spelling or grammar error in all of Episode 6 that can slip past me (that is encountered in the normal required course of the game, minus one for every one I get that isn't), I'll stop complaining. That's it. >_> Unfortunately there'll be far less errors by the time I get to play.

These waves DO seem to be completely random...

I didn't get in, apparently. It's kinda depressing, because I love beta testing stuff (I have some sort of perverse fascination with finding bugs and grammatical errors), but I guess that's what I get for not being an active forummer. But seeing people like Sage not get on at all is just... weird. The people who got on and the waves they're in is way too random.

It is way too random... I mean I became an active member and have great RM experience, aggreed to take screenshots, and promised not to disclose information, but they didn't let me in... seems a bit off. I even promised I would tell him how to fix the coding errors.

It just occured to me, no one has said there in the first wave yet, could it be because those emails haven't been sent out yet?

And on a more realistic side, atleast I'll be able to play the game without having to worry about bugs, and I'll still play it before my friends becuase they won't know its out until I tell them.

Yeah, that thought occurred to me too, and it's quite probable, since Lun might want to hold off on the start of beta testing until tomorrow or so, when he's sure it's ready (and the email will contain the link to the download), but while that does give you a decent shot at getting on, the only thing I have going for me is early application, since apparently everyone said that yes they were a god of rm2k and willing to take screenshots as well as an active forumgoer. And to be even more bleak, the people on wave 1 could very well be a) abiding by the secrecy agreement or whatever it was called or b) pulling a frenzied run through the game. So, bah.
