I don't think the killings at the beggining of EP2 were done by the PS, remember they were different then the rest. One of the bodies was half buried and everything.
And the Lord said unto John, "Come forth and receive eternal life." But John came fifth and won a toaster.

Well, there's really only two candidates. The PS and the Blue Scarves. Rhue and Traz conveniently didn't check the bodies to see if valuables had been stolen.
No matter who did it, Gaius probably burried the bodies. No one else was closeby. But there's still a mystery of that scene. What caused the bridge to collapse?
If it was booby-trapped by the Scarves, they'd have robbed Gaius already (Gaius confirms this), and if it was the PS, Gaius would probably be dead. Of course, Gaius makes another "Kalmar" scream before you run into him, so maybe he converted back from his Blood Lyn form, and the resulting action busted the bridge?
I'm just throwing stuff out here.
