think about the battle graphics for Giaus...and the graphics for the dfferent sword auras that Rhue has.....the illuminatti sword aura he uses has the same Graphic that Giaus uses......and though this throws off my Giaus PS theory, it also makes me wonder how he could carry an illuminatti sword and have his inner darkness ability and be the Ps and be the Harbinger all at the same time.........ow my head hurts.

Gaius has the same sword animation as the Hatassasar sword aura, not the Illuminate sword aura. Hatassasar is the cosmos sword aura.

From what I've played so far, Gaius seems to be looking out for himself....and is doing a pretty good job of it.

it's not so easy to decide if a character is good or bad, he could have an illuminati AND be the worst jerk of the whole world.
Remember that the Purpose decided that the illuminati are good and the shadow swords bad, but the Purpose isn't very good for what we know.

the Purpose isn't good or bad...but the people that teach what the purpose is, are biased and corrupt.....i still think Traziun was right about the shadow/illuminatti swords...they themselves aren't good or evil....and in fact might be the same thing....but with the intentions of the wielder they become one or the other...kinda.....i still say Giaus is the PS and that means he can't be good.He are EBIL......

He also evidently played the Guided into his hand.

I think he's evil, but not to his own desire.

Think Llyod from Legend of Dragoon. He screws everyone over for one objective, regardless if it's good or bad (Llyod believed he was totally rightious, but turned out to be working for the bad guy)

I think Gaius is evil I think he mostly wants to turn Rhue back into his orginal self because it's obvious Rhue isn't really the Rhue he thinks he is. Gaius also mentions Rhue and him killing some guy and then saying how great it was that Rhue's aura is muddled right after Traziun, Rhue alnd Gaius reach Lide.
I don't think he is The Phantom Slasher either and neither do I find Rhue to be. In fact I think the Phantom Slasher is a woman and for some reason I feel it may be one of the women. I just haven't figured out how that can be.
Most obvious person to me is Serena.

mostly evil (altering the truthand seeking Rhue's distruction)... and who said we saw trazuin's full power... ok he went keanu on a few bloodlyn... big deal... i think he still kept his cool... he knew his dad was around... 'twouldst not be wise to show everything at that specific moment... maybe he was just using his lunattackthing to throw his father offguard, as to show look i'm inperfect... i can only cut this many ppl at one time... maybe he's more powerfull then he showed us... afterall we all remember the shadowman at the pits ... if he truly is trazuin, then he didn't went all kame-ah-mea just yet as his hair didn't go all the way up unlike we saw with the shadow...and as for gauis... maybe he isn't all that strong, maybe he's got different gifts, they might have worked together as a team to get out ... gauis sensing where the enemies were and trazuin taking them out...

I second this... and I'd suggest hiring someone to type for you.

I'd go with neutral... just hasn't shown enough towards either end of the spectrum yet.
