Gaius is easily THE anti-thesis to Rhue.

He's pretty much Rhue, but with a completely opposite outlook on things.

This is why he's going to be a villain. But not the main villain. He doesn't really have enough mysteriousness to him to cut it. Someone else is going to be the main villain.

Like I said, it's Sacrifa, Tetzel, or something related to them

You guys have an interesting theory but I do want to say one thing. Everyone in life has a goal or goals of some kind. Likewise a good story will reveal a motivation for each person to do what they do. This gives you some fun at guessing what they will do next to accomplish their end. If everyone seems to have a motivation then I would attribute that to good story-telling, "but you don't have to take my word for it".
"psst hey buddy... you wanna buy my book?"

Also, I noticed something cool.

Gaius is from Xor.

Yeah, what rebel force was being lead from a man from Xor?

Sacrifa's.

Who's dead at the rebel camp?

Rebels

Who was the only guy around?

Gaius

WHO was supposed the lead them?

Gaius

Therefore who is a betrayer?

Gaius. :)

This further proves Gaius is the Pefect Blade to destroy the Guided. He tears them apart and picks them off

Random observation: Medmur and the Arastotzi are both powerful figures in Estrana.

The Medici and Strozzi families were powerful figures in Renaissance Florence.

Yep. It's, uh, kinda similar. >_< Even if Medmur is Entrego.

Well Entrego could be a way to reference "Lorenzo" de Medici, who was on of the most prominant medicis.

But Entego is the leader of the Arastotzi, so in that sense, it doesn't work. >_<

Yeah, that's true.

Ah well. He's probably dead now, and so is the rest of the Totzi (Minus Cade, the lucky/unlucky bastard)
