Well we know that the sword really does it's thing when Rhue is in trouble. Rosmar, Slade, ShadowMan, etc.

I think Rhue is steadily improving, and is an exceptional plunger, but a LOT of this power comes from his sword, which gets stronger when he gets someone's blood (Relation to Bloodlife?) on it. He decapitates Jed and gets Fire and Wind auras...he stabs Slade and gets...you know.

Remember Rhue totally owned the Lyn in Delhara and I REMEMBER seeing some Dark Lyn among them

Well, Rhue's sword "activated" (whatever that means) when he confronted with kalmar, and I suppose it was still "active" when he destroyed the blood lyns. Now the question is if Traz used his shadow sword to kill the lyns or he used it only against his father.
