Strata didn't wound Rhue to cover up theft, he wounded him to commit theft. He isn't evil, just a jerk. As for him being the final boss.... no way. Never. I don't think there will really be a final boss..

Strata'll be back...even though I took him down with a single Cross Sweep-Jagged Edge :) .
Strata getting a Shadow Sword would indeed give him ALOT of power, just look at Traz...his Signature Slash can kill anything!
Also, I'm starting to wonder about the Illuminati...where are they?

They are the counterparts of the Shadow Swords, but I think it would make more sense if they were the Shadow Swords.. Just some incredably powerful swords that can corrupt many.. maybe. I somewhere picked up that there are 7 shadow swords.. is this true?

Some where in the deep in the forum this information exists. I think there was alot of talk around e4 or just before e5 about it.

Strata is evil... If it were otherwise he wouldn't commit such a petty theft. Did he need the swiftfoot? No, but he sure as hell wanted it. As a result he decided to take it. Taking something another man worked for is not good, so where does that put it? I'm not trying to objectify the world into terms of black and white, but regardless you can't discredit highway robbery as an act of compassion. Regardless of whether he decided to finish Rhue off or not is up to debate. The way that he reacts to Rhue seeing him the second time seems to show a response of apathy. Afterall, Rhue is "below his awareness"... I still believe evil is relative as far as debating its definition, because there's always the possibility of trained stigmas leading people to form their own skewed definitions and ideas of it, but the general idea does hold consistencies throughout many cultures, and this includes fiction based sources (such as The Way).

Honestly, DSOK's psychopathic personality thing fits him almost exactly. Hell, even during Lyrra's death he still responds the only way he knows how, by trying to kill someone.
Maybe if you know your true love is about to move away to college or something, you can stick this shit in the stereo and make the moment last while at the same time listening to pussies whine about bitch shit. Just like you.

You're a retard. Lyrra's death signifies a change in Strata, and his attack on Rhue towards the End of the Way is the first thing he's done for someone else and not himself. It's not because the only thing he knows how to do is kill.
I'll say I found her floating face down and I won't let them hurt you, I swear, from the crystal to the crucifix, I will always be with you. So if I go to hell for this I guess I'll meet you there.

He's just selfish.

No. There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting things for yourself. It might be socially unacceptable, but there is nothing wrong with caring about yourself more than about others.

So, if I care about that beautiful necklace around my neck more than of the shopkeeper's money, I'll just steal it and heck, while I'm at it, I deem my life more important than that of the 10 policemen who come and arrest me so I shoot them all?

I think being TOO selfish is socially unacceptable, but also in some cases moraly unacceptable. If your selfishness leads to hurting others in the process that is very much an "evil" act.

Being selfish is, in many cases, "wrong". It's just extremely rarely evil. Strata isn't evil - he doesn't go around killing people for fun, or trying to take over the world, or putting minorities and religions in death camps in order to create a generation of fuckwits who believe people who escaped from these camps are "draft dodgers" (Porter) or idiots for going from certain death to an area that was hardly affected directly by the war (War). He's just an asshole.

Actually that raises another question, he's attacking Rhue for someone else, who being dead probably doesn't care. And Lyrra doesn't seem like the kind of person who'd want revenge, though she does put the smack-down on Rhue at least once without the influence of the shadow sword so who knows. Does Strata wants revenge soley for his own....ehh, catharsis? I guess the same could be asked of Traziun, though both cirumstances are pretty different.
