I don't actually agree with this.....but is there any evidence besides the chipset to say the slasher isn't actually Traziun? Do you ever see the two of them at the same time?

Both times that Rhue sees PS awake is when Rhue has just woken up.

You, my friend, are wrong. In the very beginning of Episode 1, when the intro is playing, Rhue walks by a mountain, where the PS is standing. Rhue had been awake for sometime, so your theory (if you can even call your statement a theory) is incorrect.

Yeah. Rhue also awakes to find the PS standing over him twice. He is also walking by the area where he attacked Forewoman Hill with Slade when you see the PS standing on the hill behind him. I still say it's Gaius.....but I did mention that it might be Traziun. Doubt that seriously though.

Also there is that part in Episode 3 after Rhue leaves The Pits, and Trazuin meets him at the bridge, they walk off screen and then the screen pans left, and you can see The Phantom Slasher in the shadows.

I personally would find it to be a "bummer", as you kids sometimes say, if the PS was Rhue's second identity. It would be much more interesting if the PS was a different person all unto themself.

Also, doesn't the name Phantom Slasher seem a tad bit corney? (No offense Lun, but I just thought it would be cool if the Phantom Slasher was called the Alzarion, or Gretiz, or Zetishud, or Naisuke, or Velision,etc.)

In defense of Lun... have you ever thought of phantom Slasher as an easily used nickname for a mysterious murderer. Even Ted Bundy had a name. Killers are often nicknamed by the locals until they are positively identifed.

Someone should kill Chip for that comment... the people of The Way wouldn't just call the PS, George, they would give him a nickname. Just like we had a burgler in my neighborhood called "The Ninja"... we didn't call him by his real name.

Oh, and don't order Lun around! He is all powerful!

That's true. The locals of the Way have every right to nickname it the Phantom Slasher, but I what I meant was that those names should be the PS's REAL name (that is, if the PS is a character that has not yet been introduced). Sure, "Phantom Slasher" is a fine NICKNAME indeed. But the name needs to be sweet to our ears (like Gaius )
