Following theories have been brought up at some point. Please add new ones and root out the ones being definitively wrong.

Rhue is Midian.
Midian is Rhue.
Gaius is the PS.
Rhue is the PS.
Serena is the PS.
Gaius is the "Perfect blade".
Ps is the "Perfect blade".
Dippy is in fact Gaius and vice versa.
Rhue absorbs auras.
Rhue's sword absorbs auras.
Traziun is the shadow man in the pits.
Scatha is serena.
Serena is dead.
Serena never existed in the first place.
The PS is a force of "Justice".
The PS is Rhue's sword.
The PS is Rhue's supressed auras.
Gaius is the Harbringer.
Lyrra is the other survivor of the Landoring massacre.
Rhue is his own grandfather
The way is ever repeating itself in a circular manner.
Rhues sword is called aubuta.
Rhues sword is a shadow sword
Rhues sword is an illuminati.
Dream Estrana consists of auras killed by Rhue or killed in his vicinity.

Can't think of any more at the moment.

Off the top of my head:

Rhue's consciousness is now contained within his sword.
Rhue lost his aura during Jopaga's experiment.
Slade is the perfect blade.
Rhue received his sword from two dead people.
Rhue received his sword from the people who killed his old body.
Rhue's sword drives him to attack (other?) shadow swords.
The dark man in the pits is the spirit of the shadow sword (Night Reaver?).
The shadow swords serve the lord of the pits.
There are no forerunners.

I think that Lyrra is the known survivor of the massacre is more than just a theory; it's a virtual certainty.

It was somthing about how Kalmar's perfect blade was supposed to be a tool of perfect justice, and Slade is obbsessed with justice.

Shadow swords project shadow images when the wielder is blacked out. Illuminati powers up the wielder when it is awake

I hear a lot of theories involving Dirk, but he hasn't been mentioned at all in the thread. It's been suggested that he is a forerunner, that he isn't a forerunner, that he was responsible for Scatha's falling out with her mother (or otherwise involved with Scatha), and that he has some affiliation with Tetzel or is Tetzel. I'm sure there are plenty of other Dirk theories out there.

Rhue's name is not found in the book of Seremot
Serena's name is not found in the book of Eves or Seremot

Rhue killed Traziun's mother
Gaius killed Traziun's mother
Both Gaius and Rhue killed Traziun's mother

Serena is Chasta's little sister
Kloe is Chasta's little sister
(I think it's more of a fact than theory that Chasta is Scatha and she is Slade's sister)

Kloe is Serena
Scatah is Serena

According to fwacho, there is no shadow sword named abuta. I've always thought that Kalmar was referring more to Rhue, partly because he offered to let him live.

we only know of three shawod swords and a number of illuminati, aubuta is not among either of them. But that doesn't mean there are no more shadow/illuminati swords left.

Although the legend of many illuminati could have been corrupted over time, and, in fact, Rhue's sword is the only illuminati. (Or the rest could have been destroyed)

or maybe, as said earlier, shadow swords/illuminati are the same things it's just the mentality of the wielder that empowers them

NOW IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER

This pic is a bit hard to make out. I see two dead bodies washing up from the river on to the land. It looks like a person found them. I also see a little stick person near the bodies.

This pic is very interesting. From what I can tell, this is the sene at Landorin where Serena fell into the river. I'm guessing Serena is the stick person above and she is getting washed away. I also see a man slicing someone's head off. The man with the sword, I have no idea who it is. It could be Rhue but it doesn't make much sense, considering Rhue is meant to be a boy. From this picture it is very hard to make out if they are children or adults. The stick figure on the bottom right, I'm guessing that it is Lyrra having the shock of her life.

Well, this to me looks like Janwen burning up...or something. The Pits?

This is the scene at the camp site from the start of episode 1. Rhue has just left north and is the stick man at the top. In this pic, look at the red splodges on the top-left. It looks like the sky is dropping blood. The phantom slasher appeared from where this blood was.

These are what I can make out from these pic. What do you think are in these pictures?
