While I'm sure many of you have already found this, under Chests in the maps there is a different ending that takes place on the End Of the Way? map. The biggest difference is that Traziun comes in at the end and says "There you are". I think this pretty much proves what everyone already suspected about his mother's killer being Rhue or Gaius.

it doesn't have to prove it.. traziun might just be passing by and notices RHue and Gaius

Well I guess that could be possible, but Traziun's faceset was Determined/Angry and it would have been kinda strange for him to just walk up to the end of the way, hear Gaius tell Rhue that he's the phantom slasher, and then just be like "Oh hey guys."

But it's not Strata, that doesn't make any sense. I've seen the alternate ending, which just confirmed my beliefs.

I think Strata is now useless to the plot. Maybe if you don't fight him you'll have to do it sometime later.

I know Strata was there, but that makes no sense when you think about the scene where Traziun finds out. He was really surprised and denied it. Obviously it is someone who Traziun knows well, and he's only spoken to Strata a couple times.

I doubt Strata's done in the plot... and yes, I noticed that ending as well.

You might have to fight Strata again. I noticed in the charset for Strata's Plunge, on of them shows Strata with his hand cut off.

Do tell... I got the simple 'beat-Strata(in a tie but hells I missed 3 techniqes ffs!)-in-the-old-end-o'-way-and-no-Tarziun-thingy-like-you-mentioned' ending. How do you get the alternate?

If you load the game in RM2K and look under 'CHESTS!!!', there's a map named 'The End of the Way?'. That's the alternate ending. You need to change the Start position to get to it.

Oh, thanks... I thought its something of choice without the RM2K. Oh well.

I prefer the "I beat up Strata (even though he almost ripped my head off) and got to Gaius without Traziun" ending, but maybe Lun will implant this ending as 'reguler' in the next version.

We shall wait and see...

I don't like the idea of multiple endings... it becomes hard to follow up

I'm sure Lun wouldn't use alternate endings in any episode thats not the last one... but i have a hunch that all the different choices you make could lead to different endings in the last episode. Besides, this ending is basically the same as the one that was used.
