i'm just corious how traziun got so powerful?
at the beggining he didn't have a very strong chance against a fligg - thats with Rhue and Giaus there 2 help him. in Ep.5 he takes on 10 blood Lyn like they were buter and he waz a hot knife !
and why couldn't the "signature move" be used earlier?

i'm just curios is all if anyoine had any ideas

You know this for a fact? Think back to the plunge tournament in E2. Traziun was no ordinary lyn.

Heh. (:

I think that, except for in extreme cases (Such as Dirk's pitiful physical strength, which is obviously supposed to show his age), we should pretty much just ignore the in-battle stats and look at storyline stuff.

True but as we have seen Rhue was pretty close to Traziun when it came to health and just under him in strength in episode 1, but the difference in their skills at plunging were very different.

That's true. But for the most part, stats seem to be a pretty accurate reflection of plunge ability. You have to remember, in the plunge in E1, looking through RM2K shows that Traziun had 200 HP, not the 56 that he has when he joins your party. And I doubt it was for the sake of making him unbeatable either.

Traziun also demonstrated the ability to hold back in E5, during the plunge with Strata (and just to be clear, we can safely assume Traziun is stronger than Strata. 603 HP versus 250.). Maybe it's just me, but I knew something was up with Traziun the moment he cheerfully joined up. Yes, he had a hidden agenda, but it always seemed like he was hiding something else.

Traziun is strong because 1. He aquired the Night Reaper, 2. He has had ALOT of time to work up his stats (Remember in ep. 1, explaining the notch items, he had 4 notchesin his blade.[but I probably shouldn't base anything off that.]) just like Rhue, and 3. He is running on pure adrenaline. He is trying to avenge his mother. C'mon guys, watch a movie once in awhile, if your fighting hard for something you believe in, you get pumped up.(Which I think, explains sig. slash, just going berserk on everyone. [but then again, just an idea])

That's a little exaggerated. Traziun wasn't going "beserk" by any means. If you'll notice, he was very calm, cool, and controlled throughout the whole ordeal. Traziun is pretty wise. I bet he knew if he attacked in anger, the shadow sword would've overtook him or something.

I agree and I do see your point EJ but then it makes you hope you don't have to fight Traziun or hope Rhue can get to be the same strength (but unlikely.)

I know I'm in no position to say "This is what is right!". But I really get the feeling that traziun has been holding back his true strength the whole time, same with gaius. Although I don't doubt that he got much stronger since claiming the shadow sword.

Oh no, you guys, that's not quite what I meant. Let me put it this way:

I am a pianist. A piano player. When I have to perform, I am often VERY nervous, but I calm myself down and do just fine. NOW. In my case, certain studies show that when you are nervous, you play better than when you are just screwin' around with your friends.

In Traziun's case, he is doing something that he beleives to be right. He IS under the influence of a certain drug called "Adrenaline" which is subconciously released into our bodies when we are in a situation where we feel we need to perform "above and beyond" in our profession. Traziun's being killing blood lyn.

Now, suppose for a moment at the end of "Traziun's Masterpiece" there was a hundred bucks (Seru, whatever.), rather than the vengance of his mother.

Can anyone seriously tell me that in that case, he would have done such a fine job?

Sorry about the vauge analogy. haha

Traziun's killing heaps of Blood Lyn at once and two Dark Lyn WAS because of Night Reaper. However, it's because he has Night Reaper combined with incredible skill and talent. He's the son of Kalmar, too.

Not to mention he's stronger than he's always let on.

In battle is no show for real skill I've seen in this game.
I had my Rhue alot more powerful than traziun in Ep 3, but then come Ep 4 when I plunged Strata, he creamed me, then Traziun lets him win, though eh could easily cream him.

Traziun DID have tons of free time in Episodes 4 and 5 to train up,lol.

you mean the plunge with strata in episode 5 not episode 4. Course i always did admire traziun for using his brain and how it helped it get outta sticky situations more easily.
