The Way Videos: Codec Test

I'm almost done with all the cutscene videos up to episode 5, but now I need to know if everyone can actually see the files because I might be using an out of the ordinary codec.

Download this sample file: Watch me

Post here whether you can or can not see it.

Expect a full release sometime within the next two weeks. I can probably fulfil my promise of releasing it before episode 6 is released! Yay! :D

Is it supposed to be like, five seconds long? If it is, then it works for me.

Yes, it's rather an overlarge file for seven seconds of slow-moving video. Some serious compression is really in order.

DSOK, this IS the compressed filesize. The uncompressed size is 4 MB for those few seconds. I could use other codecs that make it somewhat smaller (but not that much) but they will lower the quality substantially.

Chances are it will not get smaller at all and I'll stick with this codec.

Strayed... Which version of Mediaplayer do you have? I think it comes with Media Player 10, but I'm not 100% sure...

I'm using 10.

Ack, got it to work anyway. Not sure why it wasn't working earlier.
