i have my disagreements like

WHERE ARRREEE YOOOUUU

blah blah blah ALL WHO EXIST

the voice sounded so bad i wanted to throw my head into the wall but after the vocals were over i was like YES!

its good i just wana find a way to make Midi(w/e the normal files are saved as when you dl the game) into a mp3! so i can listen to it on a mp3 player

it's a bit shabby at some points, the vocals where a bit distant, and only semi-serious, the drums outplayed the otehrs, untill the riffs, but man, it's awesome once you tune your equalizer for it :)

Whose voice was that at the start, though? Verb won't tell us.

I accually tried to hear what he was saying and it was the stuff that Rhue says in the opening. So I guess its kinda cool. But its like he stresses the wrong words, I dunno.

I'm pretty sure its just the text in the intro; "Wanderers... All who exist are wanderers... Thus it has been since the dawning hour." Then "Where are you?" tacked on at the end.

I thought the song was good, save for maybe one problem.

The audio quality of the song is squat, you can barely hear it over what seems to be a conversation. I had to turn my speakers all the way up to hear the song at all. My suggestion is to get some better recording equipment, and maybe play the music in a better room, where sound doesn't seem to be filtered out. A good place to record music is a restroom. It may seem strange, but the accoustics that come from a restroom allow for great recording. One of my friends recorded his first songs in the Men's restroom of our school auditorium during play practice.

Even though the audio quality was poor, what I could hear was really nice.

Sorry if I offended anyone with this post, I just figured my opinion might help the band just a little bit.

I've got an mp3 patch for rm2k, and it's pretty easy to find on the web...
Lun might consider to make some more of these tracks and then we'll have an mp3 "the way" soundtrack instead of midi's which is always better...

I agree about the vocals (sorry if it's you lun...) but the song itself was really neat. (have tried to make my own music to put in my game and trust me it's not as decent quality as this one so ppl who don't know squat about recording or making music themselves shouldn't judge).
Nice how you make the actual theme return trough the other parts of the song. can't wait to hear more songs from the way turned in to something like this. and others too!

Personally I dislike the song also as I feel:

Like Tele said the drums were too loud and I found them boring, bland and repetitive.

It seemed the song was drawn out too much.

The vocals were just bad I think.

There was an obvious lack of piano and strings through out which for me made the song boring and devoid of emotion.

The quality was shocking.

Sorry to seem harsh to anyone, but this personally was a bad arrangement of the original, which I personally love, and that's midi quality also.

PS - Yeah I repeat words like personal a lot. Just emphasizing that it's just opinion.

Fitz is kind of right... It was more like a rock version of A Time and a Place played with a guitar and drums - neither of which the original song had. The version with the piano and a few string instruments sounds a lot deeper and emotional, or at least suits The Way better.
