I said it in the other topic, and I'll say it again... perhaps it's one of those 5-3 poems? Y'know, the ones that go AABBC DDC.

Besides, it can't be one of those, Lun said,
E-mail from Lun wrote:"Wanders. All who exist are wanderers. Thus it has been since the dawning hour."
These words launched one of the most original and epic sagas to ever grace the RPG world.

Therefore, it there can't be a D and a C forthcoming, it's just AABBCD.

There's a crappy typo in there, too.
I knew it would never happen, but I was kind of hoping that Lun would just not tell us the name of E6, so that the first time we saw it would be on the title screen. Which is, yes, the coolest way to find out the title by far. >_> But it was assholic of him to reveal that it's "the final chapter in Rhue of Landorin's quest for Serena". You can't be blown away as much by something you see coming, can you?

Hm... has anybody considered the possibility that Lun might be screwing with our heads here? I mean, it would be foolish to reveal that it's the FINAL CHAPTER... although it's unlikely (and cliche), maybe even after Rhue finds Serena, he continues because of some unseen (for the moment, sans the beta testers...) threat arising.
...
Yeah, not going to happen, but I can hope.

Well, think about this:
Even if this story ends here, it doesn't mean it's the end of Lun's game-making. Also:

That does not mean The Way is going to end. Maybe just Rhue's story or search for Serena. And if it does, Lun will probably just start on a newer series using either RM2K/3 or RMXP.

I kind-of doubt that Episode 6 is the *_FINAL_* episode. The story didn't seem like it was in a condition to end within one episode in episode 5. However, I don't think he's lying. I think that, probaly, Rhue finds Serena, but they continue in a journey along the way, for some reason. Heck, I wouldn't be suprised if episode 7 started with Rhue and Serena's child and the story centers around him/her for the rest of the Way saga.
Secondly, if Lun starts another series of games or something, then it will almost certainly not be made with RM2K.

If he's making another game of The Way series, do a side story or something.
I do believe E6 was the final episode. I can see ALOT of effort in that game.

This is, of course, assuming that Serena is the same person Rhue remembers... for all we know (for now) Serena is a MUCH different person than when they were kids. People can change a lot, and I'm sure Lun wouldn't overlook that pivotal fact of life... plus, who's to say that he even finds her? Maybe he just finally gives up? Or maybe she died long ago?
...
Then again, there's always the chance that Rhue is just completely insane and Serena never existed.

Don't count on it.

I forgot about that. Plus she could be crazy now, being hunted by wolves with
glaring red eyes...Like Lyrra.

a.k.a.
Rhue could be "different" afterwards or Serena will be a thing of the past.
I think.
