Hey, i noticed that the Alan sprite for the way was
in another game, it was called 'Gate2'
there's only 2 differences, his gray pads at his waist,
this one only has 1, and his eyes are mad (so unlike alan)

One of them has ripped the sprite from the other, Possibly.

Yeah, i fixed that... oh, and i wonder if Lun got it from them, or they got it from Lun.

Or it could possibly be something Lun download, or it was an RTP thing, because Lun was actually going to make the way a rtp game, if you found the secret in episode 2

Although I'm not certain, I do believe that the Alan charset is a very slight variation of an existing charset. I searched through my own list of charsets and, strangely, I found the Alan-like character in a set called, "edit1".

I have seen the evil looking alan in a few games, like romancing walker for example, so i think it is a very commonly used sprite

Which secret in episode two?

The secret in EP2 was "The Original Hero of the Way". He was a guy in Marna stretch in an area you cant get to without cheating. He said:

Hi, I was the original hero
of The Way.
The creator used RTP graphics and
made a long intro featuring me.
But then Lun learned how to do
some 3D graphics....
He also realized that I have
the body of a female
RTP character.
This wasn't cool, so I got ditched
and then Lun created a custom
graphic for Rhue.
Several other failed versions of
Rhue were created in the process.
Lun sure got good at sprite editing
though.
Maybe we'll see some of
them pop up in the game
somewhere...
Another thing, a lot of people seem to
think Lun uses RTP facesets, or merely
edited ones.
Maya made them, but Lun wishes he
would have used a different style now.
Hoever, he was planning on using RTP
facesets somewhat, so he wanted them
to match with the custom ones.
What a mistake. He eventually
ditched that idea of using any RTP
faces. (For the most part.)
Mostly because a lot of people in
the Rm2K community get really
whiney when they see RTP
facesets.
If you don't have a clue what
RTP is, then bless your soul!
That means you have a more
open mind.
However, if you reached me, I would
assume you must know what
RTP is.
Don't bother talking to me again
I'll just repeat this long boring
spiel.

OH! i know that sprite, it was the rtp hero's head on the female nin ja's body, i never saw this 'thing' on the marna stretch, but i saw it in the sprites!

Yeah, you need to do a bit of editing in RM2K if you actually want to check this bit out. Don't bother though.
