I've been working on a Way Fan Game in RPG Maker, but I've been having trouble figuring out The Plunge. So I thought, why not make a Fan Mod in something I'm good at? I know how to make Morrowind Mod basics, and I was wondering if there's anyone here who knows them as well.

That would be a VERY big mod.

Still, it'd be worth it, wouldn't it? I've already started the basic skeleton of it, such as factions, classes, and what-not.

There was actually a brief discussion of doing something similar in Neverwinter Nights. With luck, both would happen, and then we'd have two more mediums to spread the wonderful game.

Dude, We have no one working on the NWN thing, It would take a team of 12 extremely talented scripters and modders to manage this under a year and a half :/

It wouldn't be that difficult apart from the Plunge, but once we got that, we could mostly use that code everywhere else.

I can take care of the factions, items, weapons/armor data, and all that, but I need someone skilled at 3D Modeling to help with creating objects for the game.

Please do note that there are no weapons or armor in the Way, and the only items are notch items. If you're going to make it, make it right.

Thats a major exaduration, but you're right about one thing, it is difficult enough that no one on this forum would ever get it done.

Uh, No, no that's not.
Planescape: Riftbusters was in development for 3 years with a team of 20 members. its a NWN persistant world with many custom thingies, but even PS:RB did not bring a custom battle system like The Way would recuire.

the graphics would be better, But even with a kickass server we could have 150 areas at most
while a good NWN I server could handle over 700

When I posted that comment, I frogot we were talking MMORPGs.
In that case, we'd need thousands of dollars and around 20 payed workers.
