Episode 2 sliding / swooping evilness

So, I'm playing The Way for the first time, and really liking it so far. But this section of the cave has killed me about 50 times, and I've only gotten to the fourth sliding-thing twice. Is it just me, or is this 10x harder than any of the skippable mini-games?

It's quite tough until you figure out the pattern. If you're really having trouble with it you could edit the events that cause death out in rpg maker but seriously, just take it slow and don't be afraid to run like a little girl and you should do fine.

Check out the walthrough if you don't have RM2K or don't want to 'cheat'. I forget where it's at though. I think it say something like "Stand on the right side and press up *just* as the blob is directly above you." But let the third blob hit you when you're on the right - you get knocked down to a chest with AR or something (I forget really what the goodies are.)
