If not, I'm really sorry. But I'm desperatley stuck at the Rosmar Plunge at the end of The Way- Episode 4. (At least I think it's at the end...) Anyway, this guy is amazing, he totally owns me every time I try. I'd hate to think this plunge is required, if so, I'm probably stuck. >_o

ok....here's the idea.

DO NOT RISK ATTACK.......ever! Don't risk, it always ends up hurting you more. Mix up your attacks a little bit also.

Do you have the option of linking blade arts with the commands like Cross Sweep, Lunge Cut or Drop Slash yet? I don't quite remember, but link Cool Wind for sure and use it at decent intervals for healing, that's the only one I recommend linking

I always used Risk Attacks, too.

So, I should just do a few Drop Slash, a few Cross Slash's, and a few Lunge Cuts? Alright. And Cool Wind is linked, also. I'll go try him again.

One thing; is he optional? And if so, do you get anything really good for beating him?

It would be in your best interest to beat him. If you don't beat him, you won't get the goods.

I plan on beating him, if I can. >_O I'm not a good plunger at all, I rather stink. But, I tried him again and did better than I ever did before.

And... I only am at Step 1 with Blade Arts. Is it hopeless? (Oh, all my linked percentages are at 15%.)

yep, don't risk....just use normal stuff, use your linked arts on occasion also (especially cool wind)

I try, but it seems that everytime he gets a good attack on me it takes off 20+ hit points, and I take off 9 or so.

When I'm on red health condition, he's always one step above it. I once got him down to red, but he used his finisher on me and killed me. >_O

I'm going to keep on trying, though. I'll go try it now...

Conclusion: I lost. Again.

Are you guys kidding me? I used risk attacks every time i fought him! Of course, it DID take a while to beat him, but i always lost terribly without risks.

One thing that I noticed is that he least commonly uses drop slash. Maybe it's just my game, but he only used drop slash a max of twice in two battles, (not neccesarily once per battle).
Ah, crud...was it drop slash or cross sweep? I forget now. Damn. Oh well, try to find out what he uses the least. I do know that it's not lunge cut. he uses that a lot.

It only took me about 2(5, cough) time to beat him! What? No i didn't say 25! Are you guys crazy!?!?

Well, it's REALLY hard to beat him with those stats...
I think he has 9 in Plunge and a hundred or so of Hp.
You'll have to be really lucky. Anyway, he's optional but you get a really useful blade art if you beat him.

I remember beating rosmar with a 4th level injury
on the first attack.

Well, I just skipped him. I'll probably play through the Episodes again, getting all the Blade Arts, and stat upgrades. Thank you all SO much for the help, though.
