I have just started The Way, and I think it is wonderful. The creator of the game, Lun, definitely gets raves from me. I just wanted to tell everyone that I really enjoy playing this game.

The Way's amazing. It stinks that I'm the worst 'Plunger' ever. >_o

The Plunge is really hard for me too...

You know, at first i sucked at the Plunge...but then magically somehow, i could guess what move they were gonna use quite often. It's weird, and seems impossible...

Since we're on subject though, I thought it would be cool if after the game is entirely finished, Lun makes an online plunge game. Wouldn't that be sweet? I mean, like you could plunge with computers that are a low lvl in order to gain exp, right? Then, whenever you feel like it, you can plunge with other players!

I know that Lun is probably too busy to make anything of the sort, and probably will be too busy for a long time, but still! What do you guys think? Wait, hold on, I think I'll just start a new topic for this. You can talk to me there.

I've noticed that as well. I can guess 2 out of 3 times what move my opponent will try next. my only question is teh first move but eh computer almost always starts with a Lunge cut. and failing that a Cross Sweep. thus I tend to start with a cross sweep and then work double logic to guess next attack.

I like the Plunge, but I get a series of each wins, then suddenly I'm in a Plunge where I never get any right attack off, then end up being hit by a Risk attack...i lasted 2 turns against Strata in EP5 at the beginning...

My plunge stats sucked the first time I played, too. But after replaying 3 or 4 times, I've realised that there are quite a few hidden Lyn Rocks lying around. I think in my one game I'm only one or two steps away from the Paraphalyn rank, as far as stats go.

maybe Lun might consider a patch with an easy mode once in which the plunge can be skipped for the ppl who've been having trouble with it...
I got a few ppl hooked on the story of the way but they stopped playing it cuz they nearly always died in the plunge...

or at least put something in that if you DO have to win the plunge and if you fail you just die... well that you don't die but after a few times of failing get the message 'do you want to skip this?' like in certain minigames...

Again, this is not something I ask for myself, cuz I happen to like the plunge and I've beaten all of them after replaying the series for 3 times...

Plunges TOO HARD? Sure, some of the optional ones aren't for the weaker character builds, but the ones you have to win aren't difficult AT ALL. If your friends want to play a GAME, they need to adapt to the way a GAME is meant to be played. That includes searching for secrets.

err.. to tell you the truth... most ppl i know that played the game
(ok i downloaded it and put it on my schoolcomputer account and sent it to all ppl who got bored in computer class...) they gave up near the rabbit game... where u are supposed to catch dippy... so... well...
they didn't even get to complain about the plunge (the one against therin was not even supposed to be won...) ... ok ppl in my class are stupid i admit it...
