Poise, Will, Focus.

Firstly, I apologize if this has been covered somewhere, I checked the WGB, and I did a search on the forum as well and was unable to find the answer I am looking for.

So, I decided to make my own post. =]

My question....

What exactly does Poise, Will, and Focus affect? I have been completely clueless and can't seem to find the answer anywhere.

Poise Focus And Will I think are basically your stastics. In any common RPG you will have attack, defence, Mind, Speed etc. In the way I think that these are those instead. If i had to choose what they wre, id say:
Poise: Speed, Evasion, etc.
Will: Mind, probably.
Focus: Pretty sure its attack.
If I've got this wrong then damnit why do i just keep getting stronger without doing anything!?

In that case, I'm surprised no one has asked and it has not been explained. Especially in the WGB.

Yeah. That's why I didn't want to risk asking it. I thought it would be like asking what HP was. It's so obvious that it requires no explanation.

Lol. I wondered about that too. Again, I thought that it was like Hp or a specific stat from a game, like JP for judge points in FFT and FFTA, or LP for license points in FFXII, or DSP for dressphere in FFX-2...


...I like FFs.

From what I understand, AR(Aura?) is what levels up your auras.... and CTP(no clue what exactly this might stand for) but this is what levels up your notches, thingie.. mabobbers.

So, if you have nothing on your sword, to level up (notches), CTP isnt going to do you any damn good. =[

Though if I am wrong on this someone feel free to correct me.

I'm almost positive AR stands for Aura.

CTP: Character Training Points, maybe?

And as far as I recall, Poise also effects your chance to hit, Focus is used for most attacks, and mind is used to resist most non-direct attacks and empower certain attacks.
