I'm pretty sure it was Hornjaw that killed two of my characters. Luckily I still had Rhue.

The Hornjaw was just a small inconvinience.
"You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat." (Albert Einstein, when asked to describe radio)

The one after you escaped from the prison, I don't remember the name.

I liked the difficulty in Episode 5. Episode 1 had these really difficutl battles too and I loved that. The rest of the episodes are far too easy in my opinion and I didn't even find half the notch items the first time through (playing through a second time with a friend who I finally persuaded to play The Way).

I made sure I fought every monster I found and I searched dungeons repeatedly in every episode, and yet my stats are always below the default. Except i found every boss to be easy except the Carsovoran. except what I did was i switched scatha to healing aura and made her and dirk keep absorbing while rhue and cetsa attack.

However, I find Dirk TOTALLY useless. These bosses wouldn't be so hard if you could use anyone else...

Dirk helped me out a LOT. I really needed his revive against carsavorean and his dust storm actually blinded flist, which is the only reason I was able to beat it

For some reason, all the bosses were easy for me (killed them the first time) except for the Flist. It took me 5 tries before I won, and I ended the battle with an all or nothing attack by a 15 HP Rhue (since everybody was kinda...dead). Yes, I was owned repeatedly.
