It looks like the Way 6 is also nominated for Game of the Year at the same time.

I could write an essay about that, but suffice to say, the Misao awards are like 99% bullshit.

Rhue gets votes for best protagonist and best villian.

That makes sense, actually, what other character fights himself for a whole episode?

I wonder why The Way isn't in the best music category.

The Misao awards are fixed. The only reason Laxius Power wins stuff is because it has a bigger fanbase. And the only reason it has a bigger fanbase is because the games have shitty low-res hentai and generic anime bullshit that doesn't require people to think. Never mind the horrible endless gameplay and sheer suckiness of it all, that game's got boobs! (Which is somewhat of a compelling reason, but not enough =/). I think history has proven time and time again, that the larger a group of people, a stupider they are as a collective. That's why asking for majority decisions always leads to the stupidest outcome in most cases.

I don't follow the Misao awards that much, but the fanbase for Laxius Power at GW is close to nil, and anytime I've seen one of the fans on the forums, they've been either noobs or trolls, so they were either ignored or banned.

Also, notice that Grave Spirit was also submitted under worst game of the year. In fact, the most notable games that I enjoyed this year (all three of them that stick out in memory), the only one that someone didn't put on the Worst game category was Alter AILA, the other one being Grave Spirit, all three of which were in plenty of Best categories.

Don't worry, though. Dooms 4 will most probably get Worst Game of the Year.

There are actually several physiological studies confirming this.

And Alec, I've never played doom 4 but frankly that's because the reviews were awful. I'm sure e6 won't be worst game of the year, but it's ridiculous that they even nominated it.

Traziun butchering like a billion enemies at once (The Way episode 5) - Trihan

Nice to see good'ol Trihan is still around. Where did he run off to, anyway?

I checked out the rest of that site, and it just cripples my mind. Why oh WHY won't people stop making RPG Maker websites? It's the exact same thing every time. People posting their over glorified screenshot fests, which inevitably some guy will critique with some insurmountable comment like "I think that statue should be a lighter shade of gray" (real comment from GW). Approximately 99% of these games will never come to light (25% of them reaching "flashy yet mundane demo" status), and another website clogs up an intertube.

On the topic of Laxius Power - I check out the website for it some time ago, and their forum was larger than ours, usually a good measure of fanbase.

Humm... voting just opened. Question is: Is it worth registering an account to blanket vote for the way? Answer is: No, not really. The Way will will anyway.
