I wanna know what happens after epis. 5! Is Rhue the Phantom Slasher?? It doesn't make sense

I think he is... he's gotta be... it makes perfect sense... All the killings occur in the general area he is... the Phantom Slasher shows up mostly when Rhue sleeps... He's always helping Rhue out... He's often in the shadows, following Rhue... I think Rhue's sword is a shadow sword and it created a darker Rhue that shows up when the "better" Rhue is unconcious. It works out in my brain... but it's really hard to explain...

But then how the fuck did Rhue get free from the cell he was in, the Shadow didn't look like Scatha. Though I want to see side affects of Slade's death!

It could be Rhue. But it could also be Serena. Going back to Episode 1, remember Rhue's story? The one with Rhuke and Lyla. In the story Rhuke gives Lyla a flower and Lyla then says,
"LYLA: *sniff* But I can't love you... I'm sorry!!"

The story then goes on to another scene with Lyla and a monster in front of her and a weird little tree. This is the conversation:

MONSTER: Mwahahah!
I have locked Lyla's ability
to love others away in this
ancient artifact.
RHUKE: Why?
MONSTER: I don't answer
questions. Only by defeating me
can you save your one true love.
RHUKE: Well there's no way
that's going to happen. You're
much bigger than I am.
LYLA: No Rhuke, you can
do it! The power is inside you!
LYLA: You were born with
it Rhuke!
RHUKE: Are you saying
that I'm some sort of
"Chosen one"?
LYLA: Yes!
RHUKE: How do you know
that?
MONSTER: Be quiet!
You are a dead little
boy!

Rhuke fights the monster and wins. Think of Lyla as Serena, and the monster is what Serena has become. The ancient artifact that seals the ability to love others could be the pendant or a sword. Serena can't face Rhue because she has become a monster.

But then again...I think it could be Rhue
And the cycle goes on...

Maybe Rhue and the Phantom Slasher are the same person, but they can be in different places.

All in all, e5's title gave what it promised.... *sniff* Slade...

I always assumed the story was just for kicks... but maybe there was something essential in there...

Maybe Rhue's word is both Shadow and Illum-whatever. Rhue has an Illumanti, and his counter part, the PS has a Shadow sword, though they are both from the same "Mother" that created the swords, like twins. So Rhue is guarded by the PS because the PS's sword need's Rhue's sword to always be with Rhue so the PS can continue to have the power of the PS. So he protect's Rhue so he can grow more powerful and continue to live. Just a theory...

That makes pretty good sense...

Maybe Rhue was split into two people at a very young age. In my other thread regarding character set matches, I said that Jopaga was one of the people who gave Rhue his sword. What if Rhue was a test experiment and Jopaga gave him that formula that splits your aura from your body...

Good theory...

As I said before, Jopaga's chara set doesn't exactly fit the shadow man on the left who gave Rhue's sword, the head is a bit off, but the lab coat body gives me the impression that it could be some sort of scientist.
